Today I bought a whole bunch of dress clothes for the internship I start on Monday. Gosh I hate shopping for non-bike stuff.

Today I saw a dead chicken in the road, being eaten by other, still living, chickens.

Today I received the first prototype of what will be our fall/winter soft-shell jacket and I am quite pleased.

I'm gonna try and put my next paycheck into a Calv. I really like the cut and you really can't beat that price. I am tiny, though. I suppose an XS would not be in order?

I just got back from a ride on the bike trail with me girlfriend. We saw some kids doing a make-shift turkey call to one that was sitting on the very top branch of a redwood. Not only that, they needed help with their chain, so I put it back on for them on their little barbie fixie.

Built up a nice Peugeot for touring (for a friend), tweaked my truing stand, and tidied up my shop to ready it for more carnage.

Took a new route to work. It involved a pretty major but short climb that required me to switchback to make it to the top, even clipped in I wasn't able to generate enough speed to make it up. It wasn't that bad though. The downhill was absurd as I whipped through the cracked cement backstreets of silverlake. I hit my brake because the gnarly, cracked and winding road freaked me out a bit on the descent. Over all i think it'll be my new commute.
