Went to physio... back was having such bad spasms from the past few days got nothing more than a re-alignment and electrocution to get those muscle to stop firing madly.

today i got in on a troll thread before scrod closed it. i've been waiting for that for at least a week.

Today I became un-unemployed. Got a Sous Chef offer at a new wine bar in yuppieville. Downside is that we don't open until 1 November, so I have a couple weeks of sitting around doing nothing.

today i, got up planning to ride to work but instead woke up 45 minutes later on the floor of my kids room. i dunno
today i, bought base bars and two bike carriers for my car BNIB for 1/2 the price i would have spent at work with my discount
today i, went to mcdonalds[mcregret with fries] for lunch and was sexually assaulted in line by a 70ish crazy lady wearing what could only be described as a smurfs costume. she touched my butt. my co-worker was also assaulted. double butt touch combo.
today i*, left mcdonalds in my car and a cop heading in the opposite direction noticed my seatbelt wasn't done up[i dunno], hit the lights and tried to flip a *****. he got cut off by a guy in a minivan so i floored it the three blocks to work while he was trying to maneuver in the idiot traffic and parked my car in the service lot. pretty sure he didnt get my plate. lol

*eluded the cops in a car chase. eff the police.

Today I finally got to play a good game of pick-up soccer. Felt so good, out in the rain and everything

Today I went out and practiced CX barriers for the first time, 3 days before my first ever race. (I already had the dismount down, but had never tried to hop over a barrier and also had to learn the re-mount). Turns out I'm so short I have to lift the bike by the down tube rather than the top tube. So it's not particularly graceful or fast, but I can do it.

Today my wife surprised me at work and drove me out for lunch (hmm I wonder why? Oh right she got a new car the other day :rolleyes:). Anyhow, whenever you guys are in San Diego area and want some of the best Mexican food in the area; Lolita's in Kearny Mesa is one of those can't miss restaurants.
Ended up ordering a plate of carne asada fries (had no idea how HUGE it was) and shared it like a couple would; face to face, an inch away from bumping heads. :lol:
And to top it off, because we were eating in the patio; the blue angels were holding exercises directly overhead!

installed my first crown race.

Today I realized my bike is again, the most beautiful thing I've ridden in a good amount of time.

Lubed the chain, replaced the ass hatchet. Got the rear wheel rebuilt too.

Also I wrote this little thing on my way up the massive climb on my way home:

Today I went to a co-op for the first time, regreased my bottom bracket and pedals (had never pulled a bb or crank off) and trued my first rim. I'm so proud of myself.

::EDIT:: Scrod, the shop actually had a piece of fullthread with two bolts on it specifically for the tool. Lifesaver man.

Today I mashed real fast on my polo bike and now my legs are all sore. 47 gear inches ftw.

Today I had a rather eventful day. To sum it up: stuck up roadie with a madone with full red group on my ride in, explaining to me why it is such a vast superior system to what I was running(the 930). Let the guy go, 2 miles down the road there he is stopped on the side of the road with a no longer functioning rear shifter. Started to come down in buckets. On the way home, I had 2 very lucky moments, first was on the homebound route the one section of road started to flood at 2 spots. The 2nd I didn't notice until I got home and wiped down the chain and noticed the only thing holding the quicklink on the chain together was a full pin and less than a third of a pin on the inside half of the quicklink. Threw a new one on there and all is now good.
