Today I sat in a car for three hours with my road bike on my lap. Now I can ride throughout break!

Then I went to a Christmas party with friends I know I can always have a good time chillin' with.

12 hour plane ride was long. After leaving Cali at 4:30 AM on yesterday, we arrived for... the start of the day in London. Luckily there's an R8, Vantage, and 911 outside our flat. And a Tesla down the street!

calv 12-18-11 06:53 AM

Sick! Have fun, dude!

xavier853 12-18-11 12:04 PM

Today, I am still hung over from last night, but going for a cold wintery bike ride with friends.

thewilson 12-18-11 12:57 PM

Today, I finally sold my Bianchi.

nuhtowel 12-18-11 12:58 PM

Today I picked up some cubical walls to make a cage the living room for my ******* roommate so I don't have to interact with him anymore.

o__0 I'm no expert but why don't you leave if you hate him?

nuhtowel 12-18-11 01:05 PM

its a 12 month lease

Sherblock 12-18-11 01:28 PM

That sucks man :/ How long until it's over?

That sucks. I'm about to move in to an apartment with a roommate (paying deposit tonight). No lease, so that's good for me. I just hope I don't end up in the same scenario as you. What specifically makes you hate your roommate?

My roommate also rides bikes and is chill as ****, so I feel we will get along fine.

Its until august, but I dont think he will be up there after the spring semester.

I've been like trying really hard with school since my major is insane, and working two part time jobs, and my roommate literally does nothing, he takes 3 classes and watches tv all day and night. Like he hasn't done one social thing, and he is always there, laying on the couch; he won't even get up so my girlfriend can sit down when we're there. It got really bad when I had a couple people over to study and he refused to watch tv in the bedroom, I asked him nicely then he stopped responding to what I said and I started yelling, and he hasn't spoken a word in weeks. With this new setup in the apartment I'm just going to move my desk into the bedroom and his bed into the living room, put the wall up, then he will have his own space to be lazy and I won't have to deal with him or see him, and I'll have a slightly smaller living room in case I want to have people over to study or chill.

Like my parents own the property (I know, I'm really lucky) and the kid thinks he is going to play games with me. What a tool.

Good luck with your new roommate, in my experience it always starts out fine, but after awhile people tend to get on each others nerves. If you don't have to share a bedroom its easier, and its especially easier if both of you respect each other and understand that the apartment is a shared space.

Your parents own the property and you're worried about breaking a lease? Kick that mother****er out!

nuhtowel 12-18-11 06:11 PM

They hate him too, but legally they can't really do that for him being a *******, they would have to evict him and take him to court or something. That is why I shall construct a great wall.

I'm kidding. My I live in my parents' building and I had to beg them to let me be without a roommate.

hamfoh 12-18-11 06:29 PM

today I sold my RB2. my ebay auctions also end about 27 hours from now. pretty happy about getting some stuff out of my living room

jimmytango 12-18-11 06:31 PM

I hate roommates. I barely tolerate living with my wife haha.

Today, awesome morning that involved getting kitty whiskers on my face to get a fancy pint glass, some fancy beer to put in said glass, ordered a new phone, breakfasted, jizzed while nerding out over a carbon Mavic wheelset and some BMC cross bikes, did tourist **** with my wife because she likes tourist ****, and did it all on three hours or so of sleep. Now I'm headed home to nap, and then karaoke/drinking/play beiks with Misskaz.

xavier853 12-18-11 06:47 PM

I have a terrible track record with roommates. I have had 3 different, complete $h*t-hole roommates that pretty much were the same way. Except, if you ever talked to him, he would try and twist it to make it sound like you wanted to start **** with him. I actually moved to my girlfirends (ex now), canceled the cable (which was in my name), took the dishes (which were all mine) and waited until the end of the lease. Kinda a d*ck move, but he(they) deserved it.

Got back from my long winter ride, which was a blast!

Today I: finally figured out all the (important) nuances of cantilever brakes. They seem so simple but they're so easy to screw up!

Lilcphoto 12-18-11 08:42 PM

Speaking of Canti's... I need to acquire a set for my Stop cycles frame... any suggestions?

EpicSchwinn 12-18-11 10:38 PM

Today I cleaned my bike including the drivetrain. I wanna find a chain lube that doesn't attract as much grime as Triflow. That **** cray.

I went from Tri-Flow to White Lightning Clean Ride. HUGE difference as it's 'self-cleaning'. Dry lube is so much easier to clean off your chain.

Was that you who posted it in Great Deals? I got one too, pretty happy with the purchase. I was like "Am I going to regret this if I get it or if I don't get it?" I would have regretted it much more if I had passed for the price. Even if I don't use it I can throw it on my wife's bike and she can have a sick brake for cheap.
