I've broken two on the same wheel. Had little to no wobble. Fixed gear, rear wheel.

Rode out to Pasadena and back for one of the faster rides I have done with my fixed gear. Good stuff, bumps me to 90 miles since Saturday night on one night of sleep - not a big deal actually

it has been a good test on the fit of my new frame since the TT is 58cm and 61cm is ideal for a frame this size (my Moto has 61cm TT and it feels perfect)

Bikes: looks like a specialized crux now

Went to the co-op looking for a replacement toeclip, ended up doing three hours of volunteer work. Fixed a few bikes, found the parts I wanted.
Met a nice girl with tourettes. insane but cute. She was excited about her bike. That's a nice look on someone

Bikes: good ones.

I wish I could find a chick with tourettes who rides bikes

The closest I got is working with a driver who has tourettes. His curses are almost artistic.

Misskaz and I are friends with a chick that has Tourette's. She's pretty, rides fixed, is a decent cook, drinks, has tattoos, and is all-around rad as ****. She seems to be the dreamgirl for a lot of the messenger/bike nerd scene here in the city.

And JB, you aren't the only one that reads it as Jay Dee Jesus.

Got my headset fixed up for like $5. Dude at the LBS threw on a new bearing carriage and repacked everything. Rides like new now. He refused to charge me labor, so I tossed him some dough for his time. By the way, that's how you make long-term customers.

Bikes: See my sig...

Spent my night at the hospital... my mom was admitted due to secondary renal failure and a defective pacemaker although all her vitals (save for her kidney function) look great. She will be having a cat scan to see what is going on and there are a lot of people taking good care of her... my sister is on the late shift while I am at home now.

Just sent my house mate to the emerg... he had to be told that epidermal necrosis was not a "wait until morning" issue and that he needed to get his ass in to the hospital yesterday.

Brother is flying in today, family will be gathering at my house as it is 3 blocks from the hospital and it looks like I will be doing a lot of visiting... am staying occupied by f'ing with computers. Did fresh Win7 Ultimate installs on my desktop and net book, got everything networked, and am running backups.

My new old box is supposed to be here on Friday... this is my nephew's current bit of hardware which is barely fast enough for what he does.

First bike commute of the year for me. It felt SO nice this morning. Had a nice dinner out last night for cheap as crap due to an internet coupon I found.

Today I rode into work. Took a new route which put me on sidewalk for most of the ride, but it was amazing not dealing with all the idiots in cars.

today I am in Chicago, it's beautiful out, and I have no bike to ride...

walking around seeing so many people out riding is really depressing
