Today I:
****in' ******, what's wrong with you guys? *shakes head*
Yesterday I got tons of shading done on my tattoo. No color until May because I'm out of town for like half of April, *sob*.

I was a ******or until I met Misskaz and a bunch of her friends and they introduced me to a wonderful place known as Metafilter. Seriously, so much better. There's a $5 signup fee, so it keeps the 15-year-old ******bags away. ****** just got stupid.
I still have a flat because I work whenever shops are open. I'm gonna take a break to go buy tubes today. I need to ride.
My best friend is upset with me because of something I did. I don't wanna get into details, but I ****ed up badly and feeling got hurt in a major way. I want to make it better but, short of apologizing profusely (which I've done) I'm not sure how I can fix it.

Today I installed my Omniums, which involved an annoying amount of filing the backs of the spider arms to make it fit on my Kagero. :|

Is this just an issue with the Kagero? Or is this a Kagero+Omnomnom issue?
There are like 23342 Kagero on Pedalroom with Omniums, so I really don't know. The first set I got was machined poorly and one of the backs of the spider arm things hit the chain stay pretty seriously, so I sent them back. These ones fit a lot better, but I still needed to file a little material off of the backs of two arms, and a bit off of the backs of all the chainring bolts.
came in 3rd of 37 in my fencing tournament.
had to turn down a free NOS Bianchi CX frame, steel, Italy-made. too small. but found someone it would fit that was looking for one.
now a shot of Knob Creek and a Yuengling before hitting the laundromat to wash nasty fencing stuff, get the dog from boarding and wash her as well, make shrimp scampi for dinner and pass the %^&* out....

Kagero + Omniums need filing? wtf?!
I'm about to throw down on a mash bolt, which is of similar geometry. I highly doubt I would have to file down omniums for the bolt. Confused now.

Went for a ride with a friend from the university. He told me "I have an older bike, not worth much."
So I meet up with him at 8 a.m. this morning
1977 Raleigh (English made) Super Grande Prix. Original wheels, Weinmann brakes. Campy hubs. Brooks saddle. I'll be helping him break it all down and rebuild it with fresh bearings, grease.
I thought it was pretty interesting. Bike is in amazing shape and this cat said that the LBS mech told him it was junk and he should replace the saddle with an Avenir gel seat. So we get to talking on the ride and he asks me if he should go to a comfort bike like the LBS suggested (in addition to the new seat).
I was a bit taken aback at the idea that they'd suggest a proper lugged steel frame with campy/SR/Raleigh vintage equipment should be dumpstered.
After the ride, he suggested that if he does get a comfort bike, I should accept the SGP as a gift.

Personally, I have nothing against reading ****** as a website. I read it myself from time to time. What I think is particularly stupid is the idea of being a "******or" and acting as though it is some secret club. The website has 2+ billion page views a month.
"Hurr durr, are you guys gmailers? We are so cool."
I mean, really. It's just childish.

Today I hopped on the coffee train while studying at the library. 4 hours later... I feel like I got hit by a train.

Today I made bottle openers

Took a belt of sand paper and wire disk in a drill press to remove all the paint.
