Today was freezing. Left for work at 3 am, temps in the teens. Coldest I've ever been out on my bike. The ride home was a blast riding hills straight into a 16 mph wind. My legs hurt and I want the warms back.

Got in an easy 25ish miles to San Jose and back
Edit: New wheels are ****ing awesome. Such a big difference than the old boat anchors I were borrowing.

That's what I keep saying to myself.
I can't wait for spring right now, all you left coasters better not take your nice climate for granted, I'd give anything for a 45 degree night

slept til 9am. woke up (surprisingly) not hungover. made a cup of coffee, 2 eggs over easy and a bagel w/ cream cheese.
put ingredients for chili in the crockpot...shall feast in 8 hours.
about halfway through the departed. will hop on the stumpy in a bit for 2013 inaugural ride.
i plan on commuting alot more this year. round trip, it's about 60mi to work. however, i live about 2mi from the train station, and they just finished the last stop on the line, which dumps out about 9mi from work. 22mi roundtrip > 60mi roundtrip.
