****.
I knew at that point there was no way I was going to win or even roll in with the leaders, but I didn't let that stop me from riding balls out and having fun.
I turned around, set into TT pain cave mode and just rode past innumerous chase groups trying to get as far up there as I could.

I'm super glad she convinced me to do this, that was alot of fun, def. more fun most of the 40-50 "real" USAC sanctioned races i've participated in.

Wofpack SD FTW! Dog tags for usssssssssssssssssss.

Also I got to meet hairnet briefly after the awards ceremony. Chill guy.
Bummer about your wrong turn, huge congrats to your girlfriend!

thx

just to give you an idea of how fast she is, she finished before me. All it took was a ~20sec turnaround for me to miss the lead pack and one of the first couple chases that she was in.

i passed the only other two women who were her real competition and tons of dudes when I was back on course, but not her.

Today (well yesterday) my awful roommate (after 3 months of zero interaction) decided that he was going to hit the shared wall between our rooms with a stick repeatedly. I asked him why and he had no answer, and kept doing it. le sigh

Today was another good metric century, I have realized as well that I need to take a couple of weeks break from road rides.

I hear they're pretty nice.

In other news, I did around 75 miles today. During the course of it, I found out that Blok-Shots and Chamois Butt-R are some of my best friends.

While riding home today with a friend he had a spoke break. Derp. Against my advice, he rode the wheel home, but he made it back fine.

The wheel was wobbling like crazy, which seemed odd. Is it usual for the wheel to go completely out of true?

It is common for it to go out of true some in the area where the spoke broke, but completely sounds like there is a spoke tension issue.

Is the random rage and anger the side effect or a result of experiencing the side effects?
