Bikes: 1988 Trek 800, 200? Fuji Marseille [shimagnolo], 2010 Windsor The Hour

Drove across town, rode halfway back across town and such with a friend (8-10 miles total?), drove home, got out of the car, rode 3-4 more miles at 4AM.

Just did a 80 mile ride on my track bike. Some massive hills made me want to cry. Crawling at a 1-2mph pace on some hills.

Props to you, Chris. Gearing for your bike?
Gearing was your traditional 10spd gearing I guess. Like i siad, i was on a cross bike, not my T1. Still equally as fun though!

Thanks both of you! The ride was quite fun. I'll be doing the Trek 100 this weekend then the next weekend the Horribly Hilly Hundreds (which is hillier than the route I did this past friday). I should be ready for it though!

Today I: Rode "Ride the Drive" here in Madison, WI. They shut down lots of major roads to only bikes. It is really enjoyable. Then hit some bars with some friends!

Here are some shotty pics from my iPhone 3g.

Today I actually rode a bike, although it was an Ultegra 20 speed. The new fixed will get built this week, then I hopefully can concentrate on the new wheelset. Being busy sucks.

Bikes: 2015 Soma Double Cross

Took 200 bucks of the co-op's cash and went to the hardware store. Hauled back 25 lbs. of mineral spirits on the rack, while my support team hauled the hand tools. Did about 20 miles today on asphalt and cobbles.

I'm so glad I built up the IRO.

Today I got up around 2:30 PM, ate some food, and drank a Redbull, planned on having a relaxed day and sitting around(it was wet, and I had a head/neck-ache) Went on a trip to the LBS which was closed and ended up going on a little 30ish miler, mostly consisting of moderate climbs. Started at home, went down 101 to down town, down town to top of town, to the burbs, to farmland, to the freeway, to my old neighborhood, to home. Here are a few photos I took, once I noticed my point n shoot in my bag around the end of the ride.

Bay and North/South Jetties, Little climb to the spot where I took these photos, and Powerplant/freeway from same spot.

Bike from same spot (Rested there for a minute)

House where I grew up from 1993-1999

My High school(now condemned)

Not great photos, but I figured I'd share anyways.

Did FMLY last night. Pretty much my entire central group of friends vanished and it was me, 1 guy I knew somewhat well and someone I just met along with various people I've known through biking. It ended up being an awesome night, found out one sqrl I know is jailbait, luckily I had no intentions of hollaring and some other sqrl was like "here's my card if you ever want to message me" so it was an awesome night where people I didn't know became much better friends. Also great music. if you look closely you can see my friends and I posting up near the projection on the wall

School wasn't earthquake safe and was also a continuation school, the house was just ghetto and most of the windows were like that when we lived there.
Eureka is just a sh**ty meth-dome and it's not worth having nice things.
I may be moving to Eugene soon though. This town is a geological time-bomb and the economy here is terrible, getting worse, and the people suck as well. For such a filthy place, the rent/cost of living is really high.
My sister just bought a house nicer than most of the homes here, up in Eugene, for cheaper than it would be to buy one of the crappiest here.

Bikes: Litespeed Catalyst, IRO Rob Roy, All City Big Block

Woke up at 3:00 PM, rode 6 miles into town to meet a homie and buy a Cinelli Alter. Copped. Rode another 2 or 3 on my way to work, got a cup of coffee, admired my new stem in the park, then rode the remaining 2 blocks to work. Removed front wheel (QR), expertly performed double-wheel-thru-frame-lockup, once again proving that a Kryptonite Mini is all you need. Worked a pretty easy dinner shift (food runner at tapas restaurant/gastro-pub), bragged about my new bike bling, closed up, bought a bottle of Delirium Nocturnum, rode home, almost finished the bottle now.

I found out that my wheels cleared customs yesterday, and then came home to my scrodcogs and a new chainwhip. Now all I need to get is some new cranks, and decide on a frame, and I'll finally be able to start putting stuff together.
