Today I,m gonna ride the farthest I've ever gone, A 25 mi ride to downtown Sacramento to a bicycle workshop. I will take the light rail back tho I don't think i could do 40 yet.
|
Good for you. I'm assuming that you are heading to the Kitchen. Have fun and choose your route well. There are some nasty roads on the way in.

Yesterday, I decided that the "anatomic" bend wasn't doing it for me anymore, so I switched back to my SR "Randnner" bars. While at it, I deleted the right (unused) brake lever, and moved the left one downward so it would be easier to reach from the hook. All this in order to break myself of the habit of getting out of the drops when going downhill, or when things look sketchy.
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e2...rando_crop.png Definitely feels more comfortable in the drops now. It gives the dummy a purpose and we all know that even a dummy with a purpose will be a happy and satisfied dummy. |
Today I... sweated profusely on my morning commute. I only travel 4+ miles or so, and normally it's not a problem but lawdy lawdy! It is just disgusting out there today. I leave the house before 6am and it was already 80+ outside and 70% humidity. It's been 100+ every day for the past 4 days including today. Takes a bit of the fun out of my commute.
and that concludes my whining session. :p |

Lately I feel like if I could start a campfire outside and stand next to it, and it would actually cool me down on account of how god damn HOT it is outside... But that theory is proven way wrong by your hot-ass kitchen. |
Yea. I'll take getting out to ride home in the peak heat-hours of the day (12:30 noon) than be in a hot ass kitchen. Plus we have AC. That probably just makes it worse though when I have to go back outside and its like 35 degrees hotter.

Wow their frames are pretty expensive for a brand that's a bit oriented toward economical goods.

*complete
don't think you can buy the shelby silver as a frameset |
