so just as i was about to resign myself to a morning of baking and watching netflix, the clouds broke and i had an awesome 35 mile ride

first ride with tights and leuky you were right, super grip with tights+shorts.
they were also awesomely warm and wind resistant

really needed that time to clear my head after yesterday..

Adrian_ 10-10-12 03:26 PM

Adrian_ 10-10-12 03:45 PM

I'm fine just a few scrapes, but I better get a new frame out of this.

Mumonkan 10-10-12 04:06 PM

thats good

did the driver stick around for you to get his info or did he "not know" and kept on going?

Adrian_ 10-10-12 04:20 PM

He stuck around, checked to see if I was ok then gave me his info and I rode away as best as I could on my ****ed bike. Though after getting hit by a car i'm kind of in shock and didn't call the police to file a report. I hope I don't get screwed because of this.

Nagrom_ 10-10-12 04:22 PM

Bought the sqrl some gear today. lycra and clipless are a go.

i dont have any experience with bike accidents, but as long as hes cooperative and follows through you should be alright.
i got rear ended by a guy on an offramp of a highway (in my car) and the guy knew he ****ed up, he gave me all his info up front and our respective insurance companies took care of everything.
got a good estimator and he basically totaled out my car so i got almost 2 grand in my pocket, just zip tied my bumper back on, no big deal

did you get his lic plate?
you don't know if the info you gave is accurate and you really should have called the police. Right now, if he gave bunk info, it's 'he-said-she-said'.

hopefully he's a good apple and does the right thing.

I've been hit so I've been through all that b.s. Police report is important as a matter of record, not so much in determining fault in this type of thing- at least in CALIF.

Adrian_ 10-10-12 05:19 PM

****er gave me a fake number. My glasses broke so I could barely make out his license plate but I hope I got it right and i'm heading to the police station.

striknein 10-10-12 05:23 PM

Made some sauce.

Got my new bars in. I couldn't decide which ones I wanted so I got 3. Time to test them all out and see which feels best. Luckily I had 3 rolls of wrap sitting around waiting to be used so I can wrap them all too.

Since the Metro is the best place in the world, then I don't see a second option. I'm pretty sure I'm hitting up that Braid show in Milwaukee.

On a related note, Today I saw Taking Back Sunday play Tell All Your Friends the whole way through. Bayside was really damn good too.

I used my gun more today. Love this thing.

No room for a compressor?

Soo__Fuego 10-11-12 03:21 AM

Plenty of room, just wanted a cordless. This one just happens to be stronger than a lot of air impacts.

GENESTARWIND 10-11-12 05:16 AM
