Another gross-sounding (and -looking) combo is orange juice and Coke -- they sell it in some countries, and it's actually kinda good.

I read somewhere recently that Taco Bell is going to start selling OJ mixed with Mountain Dew as a breakfast drink.

Some folks also keep emergency funds in a home safe. I think 500 bucks would be a good safety net for situations like this.

They issue temporary cards too until your replacement arrives in the mail.

Some banks do, mine does not :(

regardless, if you can prove your identity, they will give you your money.

Oh yes of course, I was speaking to the temp card. I lose/crack/break mine frequently and I just go to the bank and grab cash for a week.

Thats really nice and rare of him. Most doctors if they dont know you personally and even if they do, wouldnt do it outside the office due to the abundance of malpractice suits out there today. (Grandpa and uncle are both Docs)
Im pretty sure I wouldnt even perform CPR on somebody out of fear of breaking a rib and getting sued.
