Dude. Your patience level is astounding. I'd be on my porch with a handsaw going at it 3 hours ago.

hahaha. If I did it all at once, I wouldn't have anything to take my mind off math and physics homework.

Cause that's biology.

jk lol, i don't own a trainer.

ddeadserious 09-11-12 09:47 PM

Do it on rollers, it'd be easier prolly.

Not at all. I just wanted to finish off the 3T cockpit eventually. I have a dorico seatpost and arx stem. Ergonovas are the last item. Besides, I need to sell the Rush to be able to do anything

LesterOfPuppets 09-11-12 09:52 PM

I think it's been proven that you learn better on rollers. Only $20 for this set!

Today I saw footage of CMWC 2012 in Chicago. Looked like a lame-ass race.

cc700 09-11-12 10:40 PM

rode around the north part of the lake and hammered the hills(1742ft) to make it a 41 mile ride, did it in about 3 hours including stops.

Today I found out my girlfriend and her housemates have embraced the term 'sqrl'. They have changed their router name to SQRL HOUSE, created the tag #sqrlfood for when they take pictures of their homemade meals on instagram, and want to be referred as sqrlpack when biking together in a group. Is this awesome or lame? I'm not sure.

Link?
Which race were you watching?

Today I'm really digging my new Knog Blinder headlight from Retrogression. 4 blinky modes (plus steady on), usb rechargeable, 6 hour charge lasts upto 50 hours on blink mode, waterproof, easy to attach, and bright as hell. It's still dark when I leave the house so it's pretty helpful, especially since motorists are out there speeding around trying to get to work... half awake, drinking coffee, texting, doing makeup, not always looking for cyclists.

Oh and speaking of CMWC, today I'm also waiting for one of these to show up in the mail... (the jersey, not a woman). Should be arriving sometime this week or next. I was down there for CMWC but they were sold out - but they did another run of them.

I'm all for closed courses but a parking lot? C'mon guys.

But enough Haterade. I just finished season 4 of Breaking Bad and now I'm like 'ERMAHGERD.'

LessonLearned 09-12-12 12:24 PM

There were a couple of alley cats going on that weekend too. Plus they had sprint comp, cargo race, trackstand, footdown, etc.

Just started Breaking Bad. Only on S1, E6. Love it.

jimmytango 09-12-12 12:33 PM

Today my coworker is waffling on the Basso again. I think I'm just gonna drop my $1k on a new bike, because I'm kind of getting annoyed.

Ah, I see. That makes more sense, but I still don't see why that particular race got covered. Didn't seem very exciting. And yeah, BrBa rules. It just keeps getting crazier.

striknein 09-12-12 12:56 PM

Just bought a whole ton of red oak board, an air compressor, and all the tools and fittings I'll need to build a bookshelf. 60"x83"x6". First time I've ever built anything to this scale. I'm kinda nervous.
