forecast keeps promising snow/wintery-mix. now it's sunny and 43F. studded snows are a good workout but i'd really like to see what they can do.....*grumble*......

Today had a good time on the dmr, but am in a cranky mood, so I could use some cheering up.

Today I spent my 21st birthday in bed sick as a dog. I have the worst birthday luck. But atleast I have some good birthday related parties to look forward to tomorrow and his weekend.

Got asked to help work on a friend's truck today, which is funny since everyone knows I have never really owned a car. Though some how my knowledge in bicycles and paintball guns makes me some type of jacks of all trades mechanic that should be summoned anytime mechanical assistance is needed. However, it just turned out to be some bolt-on bolt-off process. Don't know why my assistance was needed but whatever.

Today I went to a pre-screening of Les Miserables with my high school marching band. Not bad.

Day 50 of no bike riding due to being out of the country. This will all change in 11 more days.... *evil grin*

Back when dad was stationed at Edwards AFB, Mojave desert CA, we used to find sun scorpions in the house every now and then. Suckers are huge, up to a couple inches long, absolute nightmare material for 5 yr old mconlonx, but relatively benign.

Today I am expecting Ultegra group to be waiting for me at the shop, and a package from canyoneagle...

I will also be delivering x-mas fudge to friends and loved ones--made 20 lbs last night.

What the hell is wrong with people who kill harmless animals... Scutigera Coleoptrata is not a harmful creature and poses no threat to humans and is beneficial because it eats nasty things like silverfish, bed bugs, cockroaches, termites, and also likes to snack on spiders.

They are like a natural exterminator.

I'm sure gazelles are good for stuff too - until you show one to a lion.

It's not an easy life being an insect. =/
