I've finished the year a hair under 13,500.

Today I finished up the year with a leisurely 25miler with the sqrl. She took her right of passage at a stoplight today.

Yup. She took it like a champ.

Bartape got a little scuffed, and the brooks end plug broke, but meh.

Got in an easy 25ish miles to San Jose and back

Edit: New wheels are ****ing awesome. Such a big difference than the old boat anchors I were borrowing.

slept til 9am. woke up (surprisingly) not hungover. made a cup of coffee, 2 eggs over easy and a bagel w/ cream cheese.
put ingredients for chili in the crockpot...shall feast in 8 hours.
about halfway through the departed. will hop on the stumpy in a bit for 2013 inaugural ride.

i plan on commuting alot more this year. round trip, it's about 60mi to work. however, i live about 2mi from the train station, and they just finished the last stop on the line, which dumps out about 9mi from work. 22mi roundtrip > 60mi roundtrip.

Today I am regretting last night's drunkenness.

Went to Publix for a sub and got to watch some intoxicated guy roll around in a electric cart as I waited in line. It truly was a special moment that made me question humanity. Though at least last night at work went out without a hitch, which was surprising to say the least.

sell my fixie

acquire raleigh rx 1.0

transfer sram parts to my roadie, 105 parts to the raleigh. for multiple reasons (crankset match, 105 stuff is beat up/more durable, sram is lighter)

acquire new wheels

look cool, maybe win a road race. blame sram if i don't. race cyclocross and have fun

Today I realized I don't have any standalone 2013 calenders in my house after the sqrl hinted at it. So I guess I'm still in 2012? :lol:

Today I ordered most of the parts I need to build the frame, fork and wheelset I have sitting in my bedroom, hopefully i'll be riding it within the next few weeks. I decided that after the last month of heavy, heavy drinking, I will be going sober for a week at least. I also noticed that the next weeks weather is forecasted to have three days of 41 degree heat and one day of 42 degree heat, but that's celsius, it will be no fun at all.

mtb will most likely end up ss :)

at any rate, i will most assuredly end up with some kind of fixie in the future. i'm just over the lager
