Don't feel bad Kaz, I didn't catch it either.

Today I'm giving my legs a break from cycling. Do dome laundry, wash some dishes, head to a friend's house for video games, and then Cards Against Humanity, and then some paper and dice nerdery.

Totally unacceptable excuse man. Not even a medical emergency?
Nah, it's cool. :p

Today I found this tiny baby mouse on the sidewalk in front of the shop:

It was just sitting there shivering and barely moving so I wrapped it up in a towel, fed it some crushed up dried bananas and it seems to be doing much better now.

jimmytango 09-18-12 10:30 AM

That kinda makes me sad. Poor animals...

Not exactly a today I, but on Saturday I rode my first fixed century around Portland. I told myself at the beginning of summer that I wanted to do it and I finally did. It was pretty good for about 75-80 miles but the last 20 miles were pretty hellish. Had some awesome climbs and descents too, which is always fun.

Scrodzilla 09-18-12 10:36 AM

It belongs outside. I'm just getting the little critter ready.

The next purchase from the retrogression shop gets a free baby mouse* delivered along with a care pamphlet and some feeding supplies.

*mouse may not be present due to daring mid-shipping box escape

misskaz 09-18-12 10:41 AM

The one time my cat caught a mouse, she didn't hurt or kill it, she just kind of cornered it and tormented it. (Cats are ********.) So, being the softie I am, I put a glass over him, slid a piece of cardboard underneath, transferred him to a box, and drove him two miles to a nearby parklet and released him. I named him Mortimer.

We live trap animals all the time, and release them in a park/woods a few miles from our house. My mom always names them, and then gets emotional when we get rid of them. Its really pretty funny.

I'm almost there. I've watched the whole series over the past few weeks, just finished episode 3 of season 5, and I'm slowly getting bummed that I won't have more to watch soon.

I apologize. My friends say God is pissed at me for leaving New York and is punishing you all with hail and tornados to teach me a lesson. Hopefully He sends frogs and locusts next. They're delicious.
