A friend of mine went to his dad's house to fix his sink while he was gone at work. Turns out that his dad was home early, and thought he was a burglar. His dad shot him. Too many of my friends/family members die...

Holy ****. Are you serious? That's the most unfortunate thing I've heard in a few days.

If all goes well the dmr will be back up and going in a day or so, just need a rim.

Today I got the dmr functional again and rode it hard.

Rim wasn't cracked, so was able to save it, I just had replace 32 spoke nipples, while sapim makes good spokes, their spoke nipples blow. Guess what stripped.

I can't believe that. Thats so crazy. You go through so much loss, all the time. As many condolences as I can possibly give, man.

There's this guy who killed his own masked son this way in what was supposed to be a prank on poor ol' pop gone wrong rather recently... it should still be in the news, google up "man kills son"

Found sweet wheel lights at WalMart for $5 a pop. It's like christmas every day of the year! (only had red and green)

Ewww spoke lits... those go through button cells fast if you commute with them.

calv 10-09-12 08:33 PM

Damn Leuky. That's crazy.

jimmytango 10-09-12 08:57 PM

Yeah, people sometimes wonder why I'm a bit depressed. This year I've had three or four friends and family members pass, last year in May and June alone I went to seven funerals, and I've been to at least one funeral each year since I was a kid.

only good thing is the wife has pulled pork going in the crockpot.

Dannihilator 10-09-12 09:12 PM

Nice.

I think I'm going to teach myself something tomorrow.

TMonk 10-09-12 10:23 PM

Damn jimmytang, that's rough.

Today (tonight) I can't decide which biek to ride to work tomorrow. What a wonderful problem to have.

Received my Ingersoll Rand W7150. I put one battery to charge and said f-it, let me try the other battery fresh out the box. It took off both axle nuts like nothing, this freakin thing is strooooooooong.

Today I find myself desperately needing a hard copy of the QBP catalog.

calv 10-09-12 10:58 PM

Today, I had a great little conversation on Facebook about BFSSFG with: Scrodzilla, Yummygooey, Nagrom, Miss Kaz, Jaytron, Eugene(username?), and Muffin Man.

striknein 10-09-12 11:01 PM

I just read it. Can't believe I missed it. FFUUUU.

calv 10-09-12 11:11 PM

hahaha

misskaz 10-10-12 12:28 AM

Today I missed most of the Facebook fun because I was busy dancing my ass off to Big Dipper, House of Ladosha, and SSION. Queer/trans/gay rap and dance FTW. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun.

CJWIZVRDGVNG 10-10-12 01:08 AM

Today I am enjoying the kilo even more except the whole toe overlap thing I forgot about with my leader.

jackss731 10-10-12 01:44 AM

everyone loves toe/tire kisses!

jimmytango 10-10-12 02:31 AM

Turns out that I'd gotten bad info. He still accidentally got shot by his dad, but he was coming home late and his dad (former Chicago cop) got spooked and shot. Either way.

After that, I realized some other things about some people. It seems that the people I don't spend enough time with die, and the people I ditch them for are just lying, phony, sacks of **** that were never good friends in the first place.

I am beyond over this day. **** it all.

Not depressed, just ****ing pissed at my own stupidity. I need to go riding.
