These are probably what I'm going to use.

That's what I was thinking. Might be a tad too much. But I think I'm just gonna say screw it, I need a little color in my life.

You gotta wait for the CAAD11 though, lol.
The new wheels are definitely out of necessity though, unlike ditching the bat bike.

I've almost considered just respoking the wheels with DB14's, but nah, Archetypes look cool.

Should I get Toshi Deluxe or MKS Alpha double straps? They canceled my order for Toshis and now I'm rethinking things.

I think 32/28 would be a good way to go. I'd use Sapim Race, DT Competition or Revolutions.
I think the red hubs would look great. Maybe add a single red nipple to each wheel as well.

The TB14s are nice. Stiffer than a MA2, but still an old school box section rim. I built a 32/32 fixed gear wheelset recently with DT Revolutions. I like.

Anyone know if its ok to mix alloy and brass nipples? I kinda like the idea of red nipples on each side of the valve hole.

Just get scrod's deluxe laminated straps when he restocks. They're just as good and you get to save a wad of dough for something else. I personally run them daily and they've held up like a champ.

Do you enjoy hub maintenance? You put a lot of miles down.

I've never used alloy nipples, but I gather you'll be fine if you use a spoke prep of some type and don't ride your bike in salt water. So long as you do that I can't imagine it would cause an issue whatsoever to to throw an alloy nipple or two in there. I've seen that on several wheelsets.

Thanks Leuky. Never checked Retrogression's pedals and straps page, but that's an insanely good deal.
