Lul.
I haz Mavic Open Pros laced to Phils, and another set of Velocity DV to Dura Ace 7600. Should I un-lace both sets and re-lace the Phil Woods to Velocities and Dura Ace hubs to the Open Pros? |
and get new spokes of course?
|
Sounds kinda pointless

[h=2]Should I trade my Aerospoke for Mavic Open Sports[/h]I've had my Aerospoke for a long time and I'm one of those people who just likes the looks but I have considered switching to lighter wheels. My current setup is in the picture below and both wheels are pretty heavy. Front is an Aerospoke and the rear is a Deep V from State Bicycle Co. Since I've been looking for something lighter I found a person who will trade a Mavic Open Sport wheelset and a Cannondale systemsix carbon fiber fork for my front wheel Aerospoke. Do you guys thing this is a good deal for me and can I get some information on what I could do for a lighter setup. Current bike is weighed at about 22lbs with Aerospoke.

What are the open pros laced to? If they're laced to cheapo/ generic hubs you can get a pretty penny selling it on the street/ CL alternatively and buy a set new @ velomine while keeping some in your pocket. And orphan road bike forks are not worth much.

well, the open sports look a whole lot better and are way lighter than the deep v+aerospoke combo, i dont know how much everything costs but as far as that goes i'd say it'd be a good trade

Should I take part in a TT this year on the 930?
|
Yes

Okay I ended up buying the Mavic Open Sports but I have another question. Should I trade my 700c front Aerospoke for a 650c front Spinergy X. I know it's a lot lighter than my Aerospoke but what do you guys think about it. Pros and cons about it? How durable it is,etc.

I'd rather have an Aerospoke than a Spinergy any day.

Should I:
Buy a road bike and focus on road racing for the next year or so? Or Buy a track bike and focus on track racing for the next year or so? I can really only afford to do one or the other. Kind of torn, both seem like they'd be super fun. |
