"Burton Baton", an oak aged imperial IPA from Dogfish Head. Just like everything they do, it's different and expensive, but pretty good. 10% too

dogfish head's ipas are too syrupy, dark and stout/porter like for me

i like clean and crisp ipas (west coaster here)

Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

I don't like ipa's, stout/porter person on the rare occasion that I have a beer, but would prefer a glass of a good red wine over beer.

Atm, water.

I can't get down with IPA's no matter which one I try.

Sierra Nevada makes me want to pour the bottle out. It's like drinking soapy water for me.

Stone was okay for a little bit.

I just tried some Lagunitas version, way too hoppy for me.

I love Dogfish 60. 120 was way too boozy, but I remember enjoy the 90 for a bit. Right now it's Sierra Nevada for me.

So I opened my bottle of 2006 Chupacabra from Merkin Vineyards. It's Maynard James Keenan's winery. Tannins, leather, spices, very floral bouquet. 8/10.

Sumatra Mandheling from Volcanica brewed in a phin.....
This is a surprisingly inexpensive coffee that actually has a very smooth, earthy, chocolatey, and full-bodied flavor, and an exceptionally rich fragrance. Although it is a light roast, and not as rich of a blend as the coffees I usually drink, it is tasty enough to buy again and drink all day. It has been excellent when brewed in a phin or french press (but don't let the lighter color fool you into over-brewing it), and it made a great dessert coffee with a shot of sage honey and foamed condensed milk.
