I wouldn't pay too much for a set... they're long been discontinued (when spinergy rev x's were new) and basically, break a spoke, the wheel is binned...

Scrodzy, I'm looking to upgrade my foot retention.

Should I go with a straps+cages set up, OR a BMX pedal/fat strap set up.(something like http://www.fyxation.com/shop/en/87-m...strap-kit.html).

I just use my fixie for commuting and some road distance for fitness. I Don't want to go clip-less because I like to wear conventional shoes when I ride.

I'd go BMX/Straps because they won't ruin your shoes.

Yeah I figured it was more preference than anything else, or what would look "right" on your bike. Seems like the BMX/straps system would allow for more versatile footwear though.

It really is personal preference and I can't recommend one over the other.

I can, however, advise to get a good set of double straps over singles if you go with clips/straps.

FSA Orbit-X is the best bang for the buck, IMO.

Ok, next question: how do I figure out what stack height I need?

Edit: Google is giving me three different stack heights. Average is 30. I have a Tange Seiki DX4 from 2010.
