how come? Its like a standard on all modern road bikes now... So I assume it has to be decent.

And is it possible to make your own patches out of an old tube?

Think about it. Road bikes typically only put force on the BB from one direction.

Using a tube to make patches usually doesn't work. See here.

Grilled poblano peppers stuffed with eggs and chorizo or sourdough french toast and home fries?

That really depends on what you want the bike to do. The geo is considerably different.

I never had CR18s but you should be able to use most 23c tires on them, Excel seatpost clamp is 30.0 and while I don't really have a favorite rapper, I've always really liked De La Soul.

Breakfast on the weekends is usually pretty epic at the Scrod house. We went with the peppers and a side of home fries seasoned with cayenne pepper, cumin, chives and fresh cilantro.

The 722 is a nicer frame but some people are turned off by the slack geo. If you're looking for quick, snappy handling, get the Pake.

Scrod, I have the VP Comp headset you sell, and I'm putting a new fork on my bike so I need a crown race to put on it. Do I need a VP one to match the VP headset, or is there another one that would work as well? There seem to be a lot of crown races to choose from at my LBS: https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...?category=1696

Assuming you don't have a crown race puller, have your LBS remove it from your old fork and install it on your new one.

That's the answer I was looking for, slack geo is actually preferable since its replacing a steel Dawes SST

What handlebar length do you prefer? Current bullhorns are 42cm, going to get nitto rb-021 and maybe thinking of getting shorter ones.

Hey Scrod, if I'm trying to trick on my volume cutter, what width tires should I have for my 700c? I'm currently using 700x25, but after doing some gnarly wheelies yesterday my tire tore, and I need new ones.

Definitely bigger than 25c for tricks. What wheels are you using?

I found that my old Sun M13's rear wheel had a flat, changed the tube with a new one and couldn't find any definite puncture on the old tube. After I inflated the wheel, I found this on the sidewall.

Is this anything I should be worried about? There are actually a lot of them.
