Edit: Searched and found 70 PSI max for un-hooked rims. |

Yeah, it comes up a lot in C&V when people try to put modern tires on old rims and have blowouts. (Heck, I've done it once or twice.) Hope 70psi works better! :thumb:

Mr Zilla - I got a great deal on a huge tub of Phil grease. Do you know of any small dispensers that are useful or interesting? I just want something to apply grease to bolts here and there. If I'm packing a large amount I can dip into the tub.
Im looking at something like this, but am seeking alternatives. http://i.imgur.com/DN4MY.png |
I don't know, man. I usually just use a small paintbrush or my fingers.
|
Plastic syringes are available at beauty supply stores and work great for that application. Sometimes they're available at Wal-Mart too.

The "leader 725" i bought, i sold the next day for the exact amount i paid.
i listed my state bicycle for sale. i want aluminum, what is a great sub $200 aluminum frame with the thicker tubes and a rear tire cut out. i do not want unknown, leader, visp etc. something with a nice reputation that i can keep forever. i would grab a Bianchi super Pista but they don't pop up for sale and when they do people always play around with the market to see how much their bike is worth and are not actually interested in getting rid of the bike |
You want something that doesn't exist.
Save up some more money and buy a real Leader 725. |

I just told you.
Do you have an actual real world question for me? If not, go back to ******. |

Dude, you're a fool. Leader having problems in the past is no reflection of their current frames.
Do your "research" and buy whatever ****ing bike you want. |
And if you do get a Leader with a defect, just call em up. There customer support is A+.

My Kagero arrived from them and got damaged during shipping. The next day UPS picked up the damaged frame, and I had a new from from Leader 3 business days after contacting them. Every Leader frame I've had(3) have been top notch with no issues whatsoever. |

x2. Leader have learned from their mistakes and there really isn't anything wrong with their current lineup(other than dropping the "old" 722)....
I wonder if they receive enough complaints they will reverse that horrible decision |
When are you gonna stop selling anything but Leaders? Don't you known I'm too cool for a kid's bike?
I had that guy's number from the jump. |
Me too.

With respect to the Retrogression straps, what are the best pedal matches?

Please see the first post in this thread.

Are the cut outs the only difference between the K710 and the K710SL?
|
Pretty much that and the weight. The standard K710 is a heavy beast.

scrod:
31.8 quill stem, do they exist? google tells me no but they dont know as much about bikes. if not, whats a good cheap riser with a useable clamp area like the suburban assault ones? thinkin about makin a rain bike/errand beater conversion for round the 'hood |
Most people don't know of this little bit of glory. But the GMC Denali bike you can buy at walmart has a 31.8 quill. It is a glorious discovery. But in reality the right move is to get a stem converter. It is basically a plug that goes into your threaded fork, and goes straight up for the fork clamp in a threadless stem.
blah blah blah not scrod |
Think I should give the '13 Langster Pro a try? I still can't find much on the aluminum they use. Carbon fork, FACT carbon seatpost. $600.
Edit: I think I'll pass on it, the fact that I can't find anything on their A1 Premium Alloy doesn't seem like a good thing. |
