Some pics have been posted on our instagram and I'll be posting a bunch more on our fb page as soon as I have a minute to go through them all. |

Any thoughts on the Brooks C17 vs C15? Obviously the C15 is narrower, and saddle fit is a personal thing.
The C17 feels a lot like a Team Pro. |

I ordered some stuff from Retrogression today (EAI 17t and Yoshida Champs), and it's already in the mail! Do you by any chance toss in stickers with every order? I've been stickering up my beater and I would like to rep your shop!

An order from RG is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.

I got energy beans last time

Hey scrod, any observations of how the black paint on black archetypes hold up over time when run with a brake?

The finish on Angie's front rim is finally starting to wear off after over two years.

I like the sound of that^
Did the hive get back to you over those bolts of steel? |
I've got the standard steel MKS clips on my Urban Platforms and they are a bit tight on my toes with some of my shoes, so I was wondering if the MKS deep clips will make enough difference to bother changing them.

Some are on the way here as I type this. I'll let you know when they arrive.
Another shop related question for you scrod, do you usually have all the differently finished 32H archetypes on hand? |

Scrod, what are your suggestions on a low rise riser bar like the easton ea50 but with a 26 clamp and silver finish. |

I'll say my archetypes paint was gone within a couple of months but that's due to Portland weather and grime.

That Amazon listing is wrong. Those bars have a 25.4mm clamp area.
|
Scrod, regarding all city crayton steel double toe clips, what makes you choose between the medium and large sizes? Preference, shoe size, how slim or big your shoes are?
For reference, I wear size 10 shoes and don't wear too thick of shoes. Are medium clips right for me? |
What pedals will you be using them with?
|
Gr10
|
Medium

Thanks!

Hey scrod I remembered you said something about being able to get colossi's. What's the retail price range of colossi's any way? What about the Lowpro?

Colossi just set up distribution in the US. We're already locked in as their dealer for the region but I won't really know pricing or what's readily available from their facility for another month or so.

I just spoke to the sales rep two days ago and assure you the frames haven't arrived in the US yet, which is why all the frames on their site show a delivery time of four weeks from the order date. He also told me the prices on their site may not be 100% accurate at this time.

Considering I've measured them myself using a digital caliper, I'm telling you (again) that is incorrect.

Whatever you say. This is your thread, after all.

What is the largest tire that will fit a 46cm Cretin frameset, assuming a front brake but no rear brake. Specifically, would Fyxation Session 700x28c tires, which run large and are closer to 700x32c work ?
