Simple Green, a hose, and a rag work fine.

Goo Gone or WD40 will work best. No need to go crazy getting it all off, just wipe off what you can and apply a good wet lube.

Velocity Aeros are really nice but weight just about as much as Deep Vs. If I had to pick a favorite it would be a tie between the A23 and Aerohead.

Will mineral spirits work? Lol. I don't want to waste Goo Gone. After the rinse, do I need to lube it up immediately? Or can it wait till like Friday... Amazon just shipped my stuff and won't come in till Friday. Chain tool won't come in till Friday or Saturday... or even Monday

I say wait, so you can put that stuff on your chain while it's off the bike and can't seep into bearings. Also, I heard of "flash rust"(?) something like that, right after you strip your chain of lube.

Are the Fusion, Deep V and B43 the Velocity wheels that feature halo? In all colors? I found this announcement about halo on the Velocity USA blog. https://velocityusa.blogspot.com/2010...cing-halo.html

Headset isn't wobbling, rim is no less true than it was before, and I'm not missing any spokes. Any ideas?

Because my Phil cog sounded like a buzzsaw and the Soma cog is amazingly silent.

Haha...did you read the info you posted a link to?

As far as 700c rims go, yes - Fusion, Deep V and B43 are all available with the Halo coating. All Halo rims appear black(ish) in natural light and glow when direct light hits them.

A friend of mine recently tried to buy a pair of rims from them and couldn't get past the shopping cart. When she used the contact form on their site, she kept getting an error message. Tried to call but the phone was disconnected. She even went so far as to send them a message on facebook and never heard back. **** IRO.
