Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? While they aren't anything to wrote home about, I'd consider some of their stuff worthwhile. My neighbor has an origin 8 complete bike and I'd place it above createafixie kind of bikes.

Yeah, I'm just being a jackass. There's definitely worse out there.

the only thing i found less than adequate from them was a set of bullhorns i had on my first bike, which were flexy even for my (then) undeveloped sick wattages

i absolutely refuse to pronounce it any way other than origin 8 tho, because nothing originated from them except a logo. of which im sure they payed a marketing team for a whole branding workup. so even that is questionable.

Bikes: N+1

I like that they provide an assortment of small parts that are cheap and decent. But then they some how screw up parts like quill stems so that you need to use beer can shims.

Bikes: 34 frames + 80 wheels

Their Urban saddle is an asshatchet though.

I wrote this little rap ditty. Some people have likened me to the Notorious Big or the Snoopy Dog Doggy or Puff Diddys so if you have enjoyed their rap ditties you will be at home here:

(Chorus)
Fix-E Swag Yolo yolo yolo yolo
Fix-E Swag Yolo yolo yolo yolo

I gots no brakes cause imma don’t need ‘em

Scrod don’t know nuthin’ bout dem bikes
I got dat fixie swag he can take a hike

(Chorus)

I boughts my bike straight from the online
buyin in a store is for suckers who ain’t tryin’
trust me dem bike stores is crooks

I put a lot of miles on mine before getting my Concor. The Concor is better, but the Origin8 wasn't bad for the price.

Pretty sure that is Deadmau5's Ferrari, and he is about the only one that can pull that off, unless he was a young Asian woman.

And lol at Colnogo.

I've been out of bikes for 10+ years and recently got back into it.

I know Thomson stuff is nice and everything is threadless....but every time I see a fat threadless stem on a beautiful slim track bike, it just kills it. Yeah, quill stems are old/flexy/PITA....but it's crazy how a simple 70 degree-ish quill (or even a 2A/Jaguar) just makes a bike look sooooo much sexier.

My old 80's Ciocc was a flexible flyer with a Cinelli quill stem but I loved looking down on that during long rides....a quill stem just looks so much better from every angle (down, side, etc..)

Yeah, I'm on the rocking chair yelling at the whippersnappers but I can't help it.

Truth. When I put a -17 stem on my Steamroller the level top tube and stem look so great.

Got to the shop early this morning to find this amazing Tweaker Time Trial bike parked outside. The owner is nowhere to be found, though. Holy balls, I hope he doesn't come in once we open.
