I would be rich. I stop riding down main street to work since my last incidebt, even though there is a bike lane shoot, the bike lane makes it more dangerous. I took main street last night to ride back home and had two right hooks. I'm done with that route.

No seriously good job, but quebec average stutend debt is 13 000 so I seriously don't know what having like 2-3-5-10x this amount of money in debt is like. Except if you have a rich uncle or you parent are in a good situation and you went through the US system without too much damage.

But my tax and income tax are at 40% so when I receive my 2 week paycheck with all the other deduction if I make 2000 I end up with less than 1000$ in my pocket.

Today I finally, after WEEKS of ****ty and confusing back and forth negotiations, settled on terms with a dude to buy my house. Closing is in 2 weeks, possession until May 1, and now I have one month to find an apartment, pack, and move.

So irritated because this guy's original offer was made on Feb 18 but he kept taking weeks in between counter offers, then 2 weeks after going under contract to get all the details hammered out. Turns out his lease ends April 30 so now I'm the one pressed for time to find a place.

But, worth it. The house was my last tie to my ex (he's still on the mortgage) and is in a neighborhood that is way too far from my work and friends. Better times ahead if I can just get through this last month of stress.

Today I:

Woke up after sleeping 13 hours. Went to the post office. Finished cleaning up my wheels, dry-mounted the tires, and test-fit them on the project bike, it looks like it will work out. Rode an easy 12 miles on the rollers (still not feeling well). That is about all I can stand for today.

Ftfy.

Today I called my mom and went grocery shopping. Now the mac n' cheese part of the day is over and the beer part of the day is set to begin. As a hopeless workaholic, I think I'm finally learning to enjoy my days off.

I just wanted to start a discussion about what was the amount of dept, so I could understand better the level of awesomeness achived by this guy that cleared it 100%, Cause in canada it's not really a super hard achievement but I know in US it's a different story.

Today I scratched my new Kilo TT

I was riding home from work and was passing by a church. An old lady in the parking lot dropped a bunch of papers on the ground and they started blowing all over the road in front of me. I quickly ditched my bike by a road sign and ran to grab the papers and returned them to her. When I got back to my bike, it had fallen and the sign scratched my top tube and top cap. Oh well... it was bound to happen.

Posting pic because I love my bike!

It wasn't all that bad for me because I did my undergrad at a public school (the best one ) before the education bubble and didn't have to start paying until after six years of funded graduate school. It is more a sign of time passing than anything else. I feel bad for the kids getting out of college now.

Bikes: good ones.

Different logos and different finish.

I know the cranks still do the same thing.

Can't wait to get some time to spend my money.
Full time jobs are time consuming.

Also, shop politics suck dick.

Just varying opinions leads to bickering between other mechanics. Luckily the head mechanic has taken a liking to me. I don't think the other mechanic has figured out I'm his replacement. Just kinda tense when all 3 of us are on the clock, luckily that's only on Sundays.

It's not any different than office politics. Focus on your own work and tune out the noise. Also, leave your work problems behind when you go home.
