Just don't accidentally "Belvedere" yerself.....

Today I just got back from the dentist and found out I need a root canal and crown on my bad tooth. Lotta pain in my mouth and wallet. The dentist felt sorry for me and gave me a 10% senior citizen discount, but it's still going to cost me well over $2K. Oh, and in case you are wondering, my Medicare insurance doesn't cover any of this.

my dads on medicare, they basically support the bare minimum for you to continue living

theyl fix whatever you got from getting worse but theyre not gonna bring you to 100% again

You guys have to stop for red lights? That must suck. :p

Muffin Man 06-02-15 03:10 PM

Took a chem test today. I have no idea how I did, and that scares me.

hairnet 06-02-15 03:23 PM

Muffin Man, it's over so take a deep breath.

Three finals to go. I am so glad I won't be having the same shop instructor next semester because the drag of this semester and we could have learned more without her.

Mumonkan 06-02-15 03:40 PM

it really sucks when your professor is a detriment to the learning experience, ive been there and its so frustrating. its especially crap when theres only that one person who teaches xyz subject

That's a way better sign that if you felt like you didn't know anything. I'm sure you did fine.

Ain't that the truth. Anyways, I just came back from the dentist and CVS $2139.60 poorer. At least the meds are cheap with my Medicare card. Not really a lot of pain, but I'm taking the hydrocodone anyway just to get high.:p

The moment you installed the risers.
Next Question?

hey you paid for it in time and money, dont want that to go to waste now!

TMonk 06-02-15 06:46 PM

Word.

I personally enjoy the feel of opiate painkillers, and for this reason (and my compulsive tendencies), I will never try H, or seek out a bottle of painkillers that hasn't been prescribed to me. I just need to work on crashing my bike and getting root canals more often I guess.

AristoNYC 06-02-15 07:04 PM

I'm in discussion with Colossi to have them build me a "custom" steel road frame. For my next trick I will make my wallet disappear.

We have a few instructors but she was brought on this semester for our class. It felt like almost everyday I had no idea what the hell was going to happen because all kinds of random **** pissed her off. Then she told me I'm except from the final weld test because I passed the certification test but now I'm taking it anyway? I spent the last month practicing something else...

I doubt that.

Today I ordered some stealthy black zipp decal kits to replace the loud white ones on my 404's.

I have the balance of a stoned water buffalo. Maybe one day I will be able to do this.

johnnytheboy 06-03-15 12:17 AM

couldn't tell you the last time i put a foot down at an intersection. I can barely walk in a straight line but I can track stand for hours on end.

SpeshulEd 06-03-15 12:23 AM

I think learning to track stand at red lights might be my "new" new years resolution. I'm good at doing the slow roll but the moment I come to an actual stop, I have about 3-5 seconds.

johnnytheboy 06-03-15 12:25 AM

right foot forward, turn front wheel to the right....rock back and forth a tad til you find the sweet spot.

hockeyteeth 06-03-15 01:48 AM

Getting back into skateboarding. There's a cozy 3' mini at the local park and I'm learning to ride transition. I feel like a teenager again and it feels great. I even have two coworkers to session with. Skagway, Alaska rules. Who wants to come visit?

Mumonkan 06-03-15 03:43 AM

i gave up trying to learn trackstanding 3 years ago, i just pace back and forth really slow in the crosswalk like a caged lion

pretty damn good at keeping my balance on the roadie going <1mph racheting the cranks tho lol
