Yeah, before these came out I was pretty set on the black/highlighter yellow ones, I wish they would just add the reflective coating to those rather than making them plain grey... oh well. Still hot.

Or they could be considerate knowing there's a fair bit of traffic on the MUP and not be selfish?

don't hold your breath.

it's good that you hold yourself to a high standard - just don't expect it out of anyone else!

it sounds depressing, but its actually quite the opposite.

im ok with people treating me like crap, in fact i expect it, and try to be cordial in return.

when someone is actually polite to me, it's a nice surprise, and makes me feel great.

What TMonk said, I expect nothing but the worst out of people. Anything less is a pleasant surprise.

Today I got fixie dropped by some fakenger, came up in front of me at the light to awkwardly track stand in front of me and then blasted at the green, constantly checking behind him to make sure I wasn't gonna pass.

Bikes: 34 frames + 80 wheels

Today I crunched some numbers and found out that this year I've spent more than three times as much on my teeth as on my bikes. So either I'm spending too much on my teeth or too little on my bikes.

Nah, I was just riding hoke from work in regular clothes on my tarck bike. I very rarely go out in full kit outside of racing.

Bikes: Newish steel.

Did some work on the Nature Boy Zona. Now a rolling chassis. Just need to set up cogs and chain, run brake lines, tweak fit, and tape bars.

Dang, when I saw the Issi announcement on QBP newsletter a couple of years ago, I thought they'd be cheaper than that. Guess I'm gonna stick to 520s.

I have 520s on my other bike. These have way nicer feeling bearings and are substantially lighter - between XT and XTRs in weight.

I have 540s, 520s, Wellgo and Nashbar clones. Nashbars are about toast, so could use another pair or two.

That's good news that the Issi's seem worth the dough, I reckon.

Everything I've read about Issi's has been positive.
