Just kidding, bought 23" flats instead. Only cost 3.50 and I couldn't resist.

We've turned it up to 11 since moving (maybe even 12). You have no idea...

Today I also officially retired my Affinity. Feels weird to only have one bike. Guess I need to figure out what track frame I'm getting now.

Seatpost is seized. Bottom bracket cups might be too. If you want it though, shoot me a PM.

Got in a nice MTB ride yesterday. We have a local park, Duthie Park, and it is silly fun. New rear tire sure made the slime easier. Riding is a great part of life!

Did you try using penetrating fluid/ catalyst?
PB blaster is great stuff. 1st get at the cups. With those out the way, get at the seatpost from below and above. Let it soak.

Today I got my last haircut at my local Procuts, where I've been going for the last twenty or so years. They are going out of business, so I'll need to find a new place to get my hair cut. Kinda sad, but I guess that's life.

Ooh!

My bike shop has a new black sheep kit coming out shortly though, I should probably save my money for that. The black sheep stuff isn't cheap.

Only scrolled past it on Intragrams, looked good.

Today I squatted my bodyweight for the first time since summer started, and the guy next to me squatted one rep at 475.

Bikes: Ratty ol' fixed gear and a 2013 Kona Dew Deluxe (SS conversion)

Today I rode my fixed gear over my full commute. A combination highway and city trek with a variety of hills covering 24 km.

I bought a used fixed gear that was built at a Toronto bike shop using a 1980's Japanese 10 speed frame with a 52/18 gearing.

It was my first fixed gear ride except for some practice runs around my neighborhood. Feeling pretty good about my 52 year old bones.
