Bikes: Handsome Fredward, Trek 1.1

I have a spare Formula rear hub. I thought it was shot/damaged because there was still play in the axle after I installed new bearings. Turns out I just didn't seat them well enough. Felt kinda dumb as I bought a new hub as a result.

I traded my Windsor frameset for a Front Tb14 to a DA hub and another Tb14 rim. Sweet deal.

I used my front brake today for the first time in awhile, to avoid getting right hooked. Probably wouldn't have died without it, but it definitely would have sucked.

I had some delicious Ethiopian food and did a little work on my new touring bike to prepare it for getting it more finished tomorrow (installing gevenalle levers and shifters and cabling it and doing some adjustments and hopefully wrapping bars and riding it)

Well, death is indeed a certainty. Still kicking as of now.
I don't typically ride brakeless, but the Bianchi doesn't have a brake at the moment.

For the record, all of my bikes (with the exception of the Bianchi) have brakes. It lacks them because I had disassembled it and had stolen the brake for the Parallax. I put it back together and rode it in a suburb with practically zero traffic at the time of riding. Had I committed to a longer ride than all of two miles, I'd have taken a bike that has a brake.

A natural gas explosion took out 3-4 businesses on Greenwood Ave in Seattle today. I guess a bicycle shop (Family Cyclery) got hit pretty hard too.
If you're familiar with Seattle, here is the spot....

Figure I would post this for people that might have lived in Seattle at one time or spent a lot of time there.

Frame piggy-back. That's the best picture ever.
