Bikes: Not As Many As I'd Like

Today I was riding downtown with the sqrlfriend and saw a guy driving a Mavic support car. He was headed back from road Nats and stopping at a liquor store in my town, lol. Stopped and chatted with him for a bit, super nice guy.

That's rad!

Looks like a neutral manufacturer support vehicle, in this case for wheels.

Nah, he's 20 now and 6'2". He's the lanky one while I'm the more stout one. There's still one more bro but he's only 10

Got my new Shimano cables/housing for my old Cannondale MTB. Get to start on that this weekend.

Also picked up a Giro Foray helmet...so much more comfortable than my old MTB helmet. It's nice to have a cool head again. Pretty cheap too...and I don't look like a mushroom.

I planned a longer ride but cut it short about 3 miles out when I noticed the cloud front blowing in. A quick check of radar and I decided not to chance getting overrun by a thunderstorm.

Today I found my stolen saddle on Craigslist. Judging by the pickup location in the listing I think I might have bought a bike from this guy last year. Ugh, I Feel dirty.

Today I decided that I am going to take the geared crabon viper bike to work instead of the fixed gear. It is a nice bike and it is just sitting here getting dusty. That's not a nice thing for me to let happen.

This morning around 4, I fell out of my bed and hit my face on my night stand. This has never happened, so I'm not sure how or why. Worst wake up, ever.

when i was a kid my cousin was sleeping over and he was sleeping on the top bunk. i had just returned from vacation and had an ear infection (first and only time for me, god ear infections are awful)

middle of the night my cousin falls out of the top bunk and his elbow smashes directly into my infected ear, i screamed like someone was sawing off my leg with a grapefruit spoon

i know that feel.
