it's funny, cause it's not a race he's promoting- it's just a local gravel race. but all the local fast boys (including colin strickland) are showing up.

say what you will...and im not a fan either, but he brought cycling to the forefront imo. it wouldn't be where it is today, for better or worse.

Yeah, and he also screwed over some very good people in the process. Anyway, I just wish he could fade away and never be seen or heard from again.

If it wasn't him someone else would've stepped up to the plate. That's how it goes. He's a ****ing dick, first and foremost.

dammit. did lance kick your puppy? guess i didn't realize he didn't anything to you guys personally. he ****ed up. time to get over it.

and btw...there hasn't been another american cyclist in his league ("celebrity" wise) since him (and arguably before [maybe lemond]) so i doubt someone woulda "stepped up to the plate". he cheated. like everyone else did/does. he threw some people under the bus. get over it. i'm sure you guys are saints.

Most pro sports are completely corrupt.

All the pro riders are on dope. They all do it and Lance's just got caught. FIFA is run by a known terrorist. The OIC never met a bribe it didn't like. The NFL covered up information and ruined lives in the name of profit. China kidnaps four year old children and sends them to lifetime sports training camps.

The list goes on and on and on. I've given up on pro sports.

All that fiasco aside, my main issue with Lance is that he's kind of a dick.

Yeah, and 3 million Mexican illegals voted for Hillary.

Lance also lied his ass off about what he did, repeatedly, publicly, and incredibly convincingly. I don't buy the "everyone else was doing it too" argument. Baseball has been taking a similar stance recently to let juicers into the hall of fame. I say let them hang out to dry.

I say who gives a **** really, what does it really matter to any of us who does what when they're playing a game?

There's saints and scumbags in every aspect of life, sports and bicycles are no different. Someone's ****ty decisions didnt direct effect me so it really makes no difference to me personally

Yeah, personally I couldn't give less of a **** whether some ******* cheated to win a race, but when it's a sport/activity I enjoy I'd like it to have a positive and respectable culture that other people can get into. I hear some pro cyclists today speaking out against doping culture, which is good, but only time will tell if it's real. When sport is such a colossal money-maker, integrity is always going to be tough to preserve.

Porking tax payers 1 new publicly funded stadium at a time. Oh and they were tax exempt up until 2015.

We didn't get rid of the chargers soon enough.

Bikes: Newish steel.

Today I'm considering swapping my Space Horse frameset for my friend's Surly Troll.

27.5" monster cross is the craze right now, right? I'd put my Cowbells and Gevenalle shifters on there.

Today I rode a metric off into the middle of nowhere. Zone 2 winter base miles.

Whenever my heart rate got to zone 3 I shifted to an easier gear and soft pedaled.

Took all day but was an amazing ride through the Georgia countryside.

It's almost like no one really cares that much about what anyone's tires look like.
