Today I heard that Apple might be considering a move to buy Disney.

The deal could be around $237B.

That's a lot of bikes.

Today I got dispatched to my first union gig. It's going to be 7-10s for a couple months at a local oil refinery. More of the same humble pie but at least I will get paid a lot more this time.

it's the stock cog from aventon's push wheel set.
not sure how many miles off the top of my head but it's had a little less than a year of heavy use, daily commuting + leisure rides.
luckily it happened at a time when i could come to a safe stop without incident but this experience kind of turns me off from cogs with any cutouts

Today I got some potatoes planted, got some of my beds mulched and moved a smelly compost pile. Tomorrow I hope to work outside some more, but also wrench on a few bikes if I'm not too sore by then!

Nice.

Today I pulled up two dead butterfly bushes, cut down small ornamental cherry which the drought killed and turned over some beds which lay fallow for two years.

Hot here in Georgia.

Today I rode to Bed Bath & Beyond for some kitchen stuff, and then to the grocery store for food. That bag is full, and it was heavier than hell. Luckily I don't live that far.

Today I didn't get to spend any time with my bikes. I replaced the fuel pump in my Suburban. Not an easy or fun job, but not too bad.

230 bucks for the part, plus four hours of work vs. probably several hun' for a professional mechanic to do the job... pretty easy choice.

Today I'm looking into custom metal bikes. This might be happening in the near future.

I'm only a couple of frames away from the top of the queue for one of these. Super stoked.
