Sorry Vance I tried posting them on Bike forums and they wouldn't go through. I did send a few to John via email. I'll bring the camera again I wasn't too happy with these and i accidently pushed the vidio function
instead of the photo function on many of the pics. Silly me.

Just for the record, I wasn't the one who called you a goat. :p :D

Vance;
Hey the Rosebowl loop had plenty of wind too. It just seemed like a good idea to change up and ride the Pasadena loop today since I ride Latigo alot. Besides I saw all the "Big Men" heading for the beach and since I've been fighting a sinus infection for days now, I thought the better part of valor would be to head for the civilized byways of old Pasadena. That was me that waved to you and Eric at Topanga and Victory by the way.
Anybody nuts enough to do it again tomorrow???

You mean 1 big man and 3 acolytes. Ha. And you would have made it 2 to 3. But no worries. I actually inteded to turn left out of the parking lot, since the big groups are a lot of fun, but I had my arm not-so-gently twisted. I felt bad that I would have left them with only 3.

Yea, my eyes aren't so great, but I recognized your duds. The wind really started to take a toll on me from there back to CSUN. Tomorrow? Yikes. I overdid it a bit today... but what did you have in mind?

Look at the last couple of pages on the Stagecouch/Baldy thread to see where we were yesterday.

Anyone planning on the Bouquet Canyon century listed for tomorrow? Mario and I would like to give it a go, if there are at least a few others. He and I did a short ride up to Griffith Obs. this morning -- was gorgeous.

I rode up there yesterday afternoon. It was nice and warm. Quite a change from the day before. I spent a few minutes on the observatory grounds.....you can ride past the guard, they're pretty cool and would let you through.

Is anyone doing the Sierra Highway History Ride????....I don't think I can do the Bouquet Canyon Century.

I'm sure that will be the largest group. With the weather being so nice, I'll bet that has 20+ riders. The big groups are fun, because everyone is so nice.

I'm not doing the history century, but I just now read your signature. I already know that I'm going to love you! :) Why don't you consider doing the 110 with Magicant, Fixer & me tomorrow? It's going to be a gorgeous ride.

Bouquet Canyon is gorgeous and not that bad, unless I'm confusing it with something else. I rode it with Thomson. Jim, did we do a stretch of it that was easy or am I advising correctly?

I've done it, it's not terrible, but it's not super easy, either. There is considerable traffic on part of it, but you can always modify the route. I'm not sure how much climbing, I would think less than 5000 feet.

This ride descends Bouquet after taking Soledad/Sierra/Avenue P/ Elizabeth Lake road. Of course, there is a climb off E.L. up Bouquet. Did that solo in the rain once.
