I riding with a few friends from Santa Clarita Velo, we are starting in Santa Paula, and climbing up 150 to Ojai, and then on up and over Casitas to Summerland. Haven't yet decided whether we doing an out and back or return along the coast. I think it will depend on how hot it is. I'll keep my eyes open and look for either of you tomorrow. |

Excellent..I will be in a red and yellow SFVBC jersey |
Saw Mark and the boys make a quick tube change and still got on the ride in time. I ended up doing the Two Topanga Tops, and made 50 miles without a knee issue! Nice group, too, and some of them were slower than me!!!

Todays ride was pretty fun.
|
We had about a dozen people on the Ventura-Casitas-SB loop. It was nice to be about 25 degrees cooler than the valley.
|
Oleg, how many miles did you get?
Joel, good to see you, if you come to more of our rides, I'll try to do better. Karen, we yelled at you at the bottom of Encinal. |
Good ride. Saw Karen coming down Encinal while we were going up. The heat kicked my ass on the climbs, I was pretty slow climbing.
Thanks for the invite, John, and happy birthday again to Cathy, Carrie and Randy. |
Got 93 miles today. I didn't find it easy ride, yet not very hard. But, now, my legs killing me. Maybe it because I didn't ride remorly this long of a ride or maybe because after comming home I lie down to watch TV for about an hour?!
Here are the photo I snap from this Birthday Ride: http://shai.impcash.com/07/DSCF1757.jpg http://shai.impcash.com/07/DSCF1758.jpg http://shai.impcash.com/07/DSCF1759.jpg http://shai.impcash.com/07/DSCF1760.jpg http://shai.impcash.com/07/DSCF1761.jpg http://shai.impcash.com/07/DSCF1762.jpg |

Thanks Vertical. Where ever did you find 10,000 feet ? Horseshoe Meadows or a couple of those climbs, I'm in.

I dont care about mileage, its how I feel afterwords that counts. I went all out on Mureau, got to the top first but then I was kinda drained. Rode to my house just fine. Actually, I asked everyone to wait for you but they were like "we are going to Randy's house" so I was like oh well and I just went back to my house with Joel and Shai |

Manny was by far stronger than all of us. Matter of fact, after the 2nd rest stop (it was in Agura) he drop us ALL and we never saw him again. |

I missed the light and he took off way ahead of me from the break. I nearly caught him if it wasnt for the light.. If I was with him he wouldnt be able to drop me through those rollers. |
