Man, it is just raining mid range bikes with Suntour Cyclone in Seattle right now.

Men's Vintage Puch Road Bicycle

$250obo for a tall Puch Force XII 12 speed. Should have full Reynolds 531 frame & fork. Suntour cyclone. I rather admire Puch/AD, and this one's a nice light grey blue, but not my size... (Looks like maybe https://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalog...Force%2012.bmp )

Nishiki Cresta road bike + Park Tools mechanics stand Suntour Cyclone

$150 Nishiki Cresta (though the pre-canti iteration) with Park Tools stand. This was posted before but it's been dropped by $50.

@Musicdriver If that Cresta was cant, I'd be all over it. Still an amazing deal.

@Falcon3 - Ha, I'm sure a few people would be. It's a hair big for me as well but as you say, even without the cantis it's a pretty nice price.

@eschlwc - Fair point! Not Seattle indeed. Most of my cross border shopping dreams have been a bit dashed with the Canadian dollar anyway (and to be honest, they're usually more 'what ifs' than actual plans to buy anyway), but I have a bad habit of just kinda lumping everything from Everett to Tacoma as 'Seattle area' when doing some imaginary bike buying. For some real steals in the 'Vancouver area' I've considered going as far as hopping on a ferry if need be (though I'd better have plans in the area anyway to make the trip worthwhile should the buyer flake out!)

eddy merkxx frame and hand built frame

Eddy Merckx frame that has been chopped off. Would be good for a framebuilder here.

Honestly, it breaks my heart for a lugged Merckx to go down like that.

Stupid question, but why would someone chop a frame like that?

My guess would be that the bike was wrecked in a front end crash and that the owner was trying to salvage what they could

Here is another damaged Merckx in Eugene with a more realistic price of $25, looks like he got smoked from behind

Nothing super snazzy but $150 for a 9-speed Veloce group isn't too bad. Too bad he doesn't include the brakes but it is "best offer", maybe he'd nudge a bit on the price. I like the 9-speed Campy stuff because you can use Shimano wheels

Campagnolo Veloce 9 spd group $150/OBO

Delicious! If I was a jet setter, I'd fly over and get it.

Mid 1980's Tommasini Super Prestige

Picked this up today for well under his ask. Frame will clean up nicely. Not a desirable group for this bike to say the least.

This makes Super Prestige #2 . Not anywhere near as nice as my current one:

Great catch, I would've grabbed that too if it were local to me. Is it red or pink?

Really a sweet bike, but couldn't.

Sort of felt the need to just pick it up given how nice they ride. Met the seller and got it at a good price. It'll need some work to get it looking right but cosmetically, I know it's going to come out well.

Need it it like I need another hole in my head though. Especially with that Kvale coming down the pike...

No problem to find a new home for it well before the Kvale comes ashore.

I thought about it for 2 seconds. I am really, really trying not to pick up any more bikes. A third Tommasini would have put me over the limit. Congratulations on your latest pickup!

I'm SO glad that's not my size. The seller says to make an offer, so anyone interested may want to try.
