Here's a great looking Nishiki Cresta with all the touring accoutrements that you'll need for $350 in San Diego, the bike has been listed for awhile now, there may even be some wiggle room here.

nishiki cresta 23" road bike 58CM bicycle

Sorry to hear that.

I thought about it for a few minutes, but I ultimately decided to leave the $$$ in the bike fund intact.

It's a cool bike though.

I hear ya--I guess that's the downside to the many upsides of having cool bikes listed here--there are lurkers waiting to pounce! lol

Peugeot Iseran:

Peugeot Mixte, they must have repainted and renovated:

https://worcester.craigslist.org/bik/5498384375.html

-----------------------

I like this person's gumption, I've thought of times of posting "I need" type ads on Craig's List.

Hi,
I am 5'9" and recently rode a friends large frame Mixte 12 speed bike (56cm). I enjoyed it quite a bit, as opposed to a traditional diamond frame road bike. I was wondering if anyone out there has one that they would be willing to part with?

I don't have a lot of $ to spend right now but am willing to consider all reasonably priced offers as well as fixer-uppers. And it would go to someone who would be using it on a weekly basis instead of taking up space in your garage.

I might be willing to also include my Maruishi Rx-4 12 speed diamond frame bike, it's in rather good condition. It would just have to depend on the deal.
Thanks.

https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/bik/5479997464.html
I'd help the guy/gal out if I could.

Clubman but whom? Those Olympic rings might say who. I know Claude Butler also made them besides the well-known Raleighs.

Check the shifters out, "top-tube" mounted. Must have been done by an owner I'd think.
