The 110 reference for the crankset is the bolt pattern. Most standard road cranks are 130. A 110 pattern would be for a compact crank (meaning smaller chain rings).

Most likely you need to adjust the derailluer. Try adjusting the barrel adjustment knob attached to the derailluer. Look at the chain from the cassette to the derailluer. It should line up.
