I need to get some pix of my paint-flaking 5200 up in the Trek thread. I wonder if that would get a few bites.

Captain Obvious says: I need more money.

he also says: over the air TV sucks during the day.

Spent $90 on food just now. Jeez. Also swung by my favorite bike shop to look at saddles. I had no idea the Aliante was a $200 saddle! He said if I bought a saddle and didn't like it he'd take it back, but I just can't afford that much money right now. Looks like I'll just have to HTFU and ride my Toupe until May when I get a job.

I've thought about it. Don't know exactly which saddle I want. I've been recommended to try Selle Italia SLR/SLR XP, Fizik Aliante, Selle San Marco Mantra, or Specialized Phenom.

I might just buy one on eBay, try it, if I don't like it I'll sell it on eBay.

We are less than human. This guy would have gotten more jail time if his pot were stored in several small baggies than he did for taking two lives.

FB, an aliante sport can be had for like 40-50 bucks new on ebay. I bought an old one but traded it.

In addition. I have a used SLR XP I'll send you to try out. If you like it, keep it, if not send it back to me. I don't think I want anything for it since I'm not planning on using it. Have to warn you though, a friend used it for MTB so it's seen it's share of wear. Should be fine to try out and shouldn't ruin your bibs.

They're not. My LBS had a bin full of aliante gamma's. they were all brand new take offs (i think from bianchis). I bought one from there to try out. They said $30. I bought it and didnt like it but you can get them for cheap. From the cheap ones to the most expensive the comfort is the same. the weight changes though.

also ebay has some good deals

Is the SLR XP 135 mm? The Toupe I liked other than the stiffness was 143, so I'm not sure how a 135 will fit me. I might try out my Arione again, just to see if I've changed (even though the Arione is like 128 I think).

Was this too much? Posted in the poll: "The guy who won was using a carbon steerer tube. Last year several guys crashed and none of their carbon steerers snapped. That why I won't by an aluminum frame or use alu wheels, aluminum is prone to catastrophic failure if you damage it."

You gotta make snow angels. Then post the pic of you doing that. It'll be good for your spirits.

Alternate: make a roadie snowman.

Heading out for a lunch time spin on the FG. I plan to do intervals but I won't be surprised if I JRA. First time on the bike since Monday (work sucks this time of year).

I'm so tired. Spent 30 minutes on the trainer. Lost my mind. I think I'll do another 30 minutes shortly. And then lose my mind. And then do another 30.
