Here's an awfully vague CL numbskull. Maybe I'll write to see if he has a Sturmey Archer ASC hub.

Perform this!
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...204410049.html Another well worth the money bike? Vintage BMX and freestyle is extremely hot right now. Seems kind of low actually?,,,,BD |
Another Craigslist Find
Too bad they only have 1 of these available. Quite a steal at a mere $110. That's what that awesome seat alone is probably worth...

Funny part is that Huffy made the best kickstand ever during that period. Makes the schwinn models
look like undersprung overweight junk. They work, and continue to work. I hate to admit it but I have four Huffy Aerowind bikes, and all the kickstands work like new. Yep, I am old enough to remember bikes that CAME with kickstands. Aside from the fact that don't look "sporty", why did they stop having them? Makes no sense. Thank goodness for greenfield, hehe.,,,,BD On condition alone that one is worth about 25-30 bucks. If it was in normal shape, $10 and under. |

Here are two examples of numbskulls: 1) the fellow trying to pump up his tyre and 2) the fellow driving the Renault 5 with the caravan
http://media.kladblog.com/media/200609/caravan.wmv For the benefit of the North Americans, the Renault 5 likely had an engine of just about 1 liter capacity and perhaps 60 horse power. |
Something isn't right here.

Well, volkswagons and 280Z's!! Geez, I never saw so many coolant and gasoline leaks under the hood!!
I had a 77 280 2+2. It had a nice body, but the engine was totally screwy. Datsun(Nissan to you kids) thought it was a great idea to have dozens of tiny lines carrying coolant and gas under the hood. It seemed like once a week it would spring a leak of one liquid or another.,,,,BD We already saw the red hi dollar huffy, hehe. |
Whoops, my bad!
I think the same lister has a 10 speed Murray for $180. I don't have time to go fish it out this morning :) |
One reason I ride vintage is because the new bikes cost too much...
