The silence is deafening....nobody wants this beauty? Might be yours Frank.

I seem to recall seeing someone mentioning the desire to have an odometer with dual mileage capability. Since I can't find that message after a couple of searches, I will offer it here.
As I was cleaning my garage yesterday, I noticed a wheel that has an Avocet odometer attached with dual mileage. I am assuming it is calibrated in miles since it is in the US, but I didn't really look. I will post a picture later if needed, but it is one of the units that hooks to the front axle, and uses a pulley to advance the odometer instead of the peg that clicks against the star shaped appendage to move the mileage. I didn't check, and I don't know if Avocet had different models, but I believe it is currently on a 27" rim. Free for the cost of shipping, and possible advice for safely removing it in case there is a trick to it (again, I didn't really look at it, so I realize it could be simple). |
I know this was from a while ago but if you still have the 42cm bars I'll take them if you still have 'em

Free for shipping. Please pay paypal fees, either via gift or add the same percentage amount to shipping.
Four dork disks, one kickstand, and three sets of handlebars. I won't split the handlebars or the dork disks because it costs the same to ship either. Save on shipping and take everything. Handlebars: Hsin-Lung, Al-alloy, 42cm center-to-center across drops. 25.4 mm clamp diameter (measures 25.2 on my calipers) Winpista, Al-alloy, 41cm center-to-center across drops. 25.4 mm clamp diameter (measures 25.4 on my calipers) No Logo, steel, 41cm center-to-center across drops. 25.4 mm clamp diameter (measures 25.2 on my calipers) http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment...1&d=1398615962 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=376931 |

Here's an odd one - anyone want a bunch of old plain white sheets? I've got a couple of boxes of them, all slightly-to-god-awful stained. They tend to pile up in the hotel biz.
Perhaps you need dust covers for bikes you have in storage, drop cloths for wrenching on bikes indoors during the winter months, or maybe you just want to treat the whole neighborhood to mummy costumes this Hallowe'en? PM with how many you want, and I'll PM back the postage it takes to ship em to you. Also have many pillowcases in same condition. http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d.../photo-140.jpg |

Fans of all thing French, here's a free (for the cost of shipping and am pretty sure i can coax it into a flat-rate box so $5.35 to any USA address):
Helicomatic rear hub with freewheel (or call it a cassette if you like). The hub is 36-hole and 126mm spaced, the FW is 6-SP, 14-32, both are dirty but I squirted WD40 in both and they rotate freely...the hub is missing one of the plastic dust shields, maybe a DIYer can just cut a donut of plastic from a plastic lid and snap it in. Don't miss this chance to add a much-maligned French product to your collection! FREEDOM hubs! :) |

Box of chains. Used.

Crusty old Aero bars, with armrests in better shape. Second photo show the mounting blocks to clamp them down on your existing handlebar. Not included: bolts to mound aerobars on the clamps (but standard hardware store stuff is all it takes.). Clamps look like they fit any bars between 25mm and about 26.5mm diameter

I have frame only, no fork, Iron Horse Victory frame - nice 853 steel, somewhere around 59 cm - and didn't look like crash damage on the steerer tube - in the Checker Cab, yellow and black pattern that someone could pick up in Dayton Ohio or have for the shipping. Merry Christmas all!
I bought it to build as a spare to my Kona Kapu - but later came into a Waterford Paramount. I will never build and ride this bike. I would love for it to go to a good home. I think it is pretty cool looking. |
Non aero road levers. Pair of Mafac levers with no hoods but have white(more of a cream color now) lever hoods. One is missing the clamp and nut. The other is complete.
Also have a single Mafac lever with a decent black hood and barrel adjuster. No clamp/nut. Then a pair of Universal levers in decent shape without hoods and a clamp for one of the levers. These match up with the Universal Mod 77 calipers I believe. This is a take all kind of deal. I may even have some decent barely used brake cables I can toss it. No promises though. Pay for shipping and all of your non aero brake lever dreams will come true...after finding some mounting clamps. |
Also from '88 Campione:
Modolo aero levers with disintegrating hoods http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/q...psmpp4sbg0.jpg |

Free stuff!
I have a more modern trek MTb and vintage 27" wheel schwinn road bike. In various states of disrepair. Maybe some more random stuff. These aren't anything valuable so don't expect to flip them! come to Cape Cod MA and take them off my hands! |
Have three sets of Modolo Ergo/Anatomic handlebars in decent shape, all are 26 clamp and 40 width. One shiny, one polished in center section, one dull anodized.
Yours for the cost of postage, figure $15 for one, $20 for all three. |

I have several Pyramid thorn resistant tubes in various sizes. They are heavy - as heavy as many of my tires - but they are free. You tell me what size you need, and I will tell you if I have it. I do have several kid-sized tubes, so I would package them into one shipment. They are yours for the cost of shipping.
