Why, if in a moment of insanity you decide to hop rocks,
you are more than adequately equipped.
Your bike will survive effortlessly and wait while you recover from your injuries.
I dated a petite lady for a time. A welder. She could run a bead so straight and even it never varied a mm.
She would slow a job down though. Folks would stop what they were doing just to watch her work.
She dumped me.
Said the spark was gone.
But I digress.

Less aggressive rubber. Fine for asphalt or dirt.
Back at the end of February when I saw a Chinese gentleman on the news aim an IR thermometer at someone's forehead I rushed to find mine and shot my forehead. Heretofore it had only taken the temp of output transistors. February- Forehead 91.4 degrees. Today 4/25/20 91.5 degrees. I seem to be crud free. If you should opt to buy yourself this fineass bicycle, I'll scrub up and place it so you can have a cruise or we can social distance exchange. It's so disinfected you could lick it. But don't lick it. Just don't.

I am speechless, the description doesn't remotely resemble the photos. And I don't think "Tour de France" is spelled "THRILL". And an MTB is not a "racer". But heck, it's only $800

This guys ads have been posted here before. They always include a story and the phrase " I digress". I will admit that to me they are entertaining ads. It usually includes some prior relationship. In this one, he dated a welder, but she broke up with him because she said the spark was gone!
Last time one of these ads was posted here in on this tread, I clicked on the link to bring me to the actual ad and then clicked on "more ads by this seller". I got some good reads. Wacky, maybe, but fun stuff.

^^^^^^^^ Dude likes to recycle a lot of his "clever" content. He could spend a little less time cutting and pasting the superfluous stuff, and a little more on the details of the bikes he's selling.
But I digress.

Haha. I think the only new bike we bought my son was a rockhopper 24" guys edition. That was late 90s, he would have been seven or eight. Nowadays he rides a KTM 1290 super adventure r. Giant beast of a bike. Heh.

Normally when I see motor vehicles or motorized toys in the Bikes section on CL, I flag the ad. But this one was just too good.

I have restored many of these, as I have a thing for mixtes. I've done at least 10, maybe more. Sold a really clean, fully restored (stripped down to frame) in the same color for $225. I've sold them for $100 unrestored. The market really must be crazy, although this is one of the worse examples. It makes me want to build up some of my French frames and get them on craigslist. Still, $300 max would be top for even one of my better restored bikes.
