$450 is steep for this IMO, but from the single picture a nice specimen. Regardless, I already have a 660 and 620 that I paid less than 1/2 that for each, so I'm at my Trek limit.

Giant Defy Advanced 2 - $700

Here's a nice looking bike in the Tri-Cities area of Washington, but the limited description and non-drive side photo are often a turn-off to prospective buyers.

sporty city bike, day tripper - $233 (Belmont/Watertown/waltham)

Clean, low mileage, nearly all original
high performance brazed & lugged Columbus db chromoly frame/fork fits a 5-6" to 5-11" rider
Shimano 600 driveline and brakes are almost flawless. Titr rubber is good & serviceable but old
I don't think its seen any weather its so fresh looking.

This is a high mid level sport touring day tripper or city bike
Frame has couple of minor chips that keep it from being a "10"

I would guess this bike has only a few short rides on it... less than 100miles probably

3Rensho Road Bike Vintage - $625 (Wilmington)

Awesome vintage 3Rensho or Sanrensho road bike. Avocet Crankset and Shimano 105 components including hubs. Very nice! Chrome under paint if you don't care for the color. I am 5'5" and bought it for myself, but it would be better suited for someone about 5 feet tall. Excellent condition and newish tires.

That DA stuff is gorgeous!

Apparently a vintage Shogun with gold lugs and components. I have no idea what's going on, but the price makes it worth a look. Good condition.

A Rodriguez "tandom" for just $200? Very small market for these, but still, seems like a killer deal to me.

I believe this is missing its chromed original fork, but much of this 501-tubed Pug is still original it looks like. Oddball FD and mount, what looks like a Nervar crank (very pretty), race geometry, and a RD and DT shifter set that you guys would know better than me. It's a bit of a rescue mission, but the paint and decals look good.

Interesting even if not old... Single speed roadie.

https://sacramento.craigslist.org/bik/5825890854.html

This is a one of a kind TET/Teesdale handbuilt steel frame and fork, made in America by a master craftsman. It's a 55cm top tube, 12.5cm head tube, 1 1/8" steerer, 535mm seat tube with a fairly high BB for pedal clearance. Made from top of the line True Temper S3 steel in the main triangle with Verus heat treated stays. It's a road fixed gear, with two bottle bosses and is drilled and designed for a front brake. No rear brake provisions. 120mm rear spacing, 27.2 seatpost. No headset, but I'll include a Chris King crown race on the fork. The fork has tight tire clearance, a bit more in the rear. The fork steerer measures about 23 cm. Some paint chips but not abused. Pick up in Davis.

That Shogun above:

"1. Vintage Road bike - ($120)
- Manufacture: Shogun (Japanese)
- 25 inches or 63.5 cm, I am 5'8 and the bike rides just fine for me.
- Condition: Recently refurbished, so very good condition
- Maintenance: Keep in garage when not used. "

Obviously, it's a big bike for a big man or woman, but to say "I am 5'8", well, one would have to hop on it at that.

Here would be the Aerospace to get; I talked to the seller already; it really is probably barely different than a Viscount Aerospace, this is a Lambert. Seller told me he/she might choose to restore but it's fun seeing the old Lambert decals.

There are quite a few Lamberts around, a beautiful purple one I saw not long ago, selling for $400. This one below is probably equipped with the bad fork.

Lambert/Viscount Grand Prix $75 OBO

"Early 70s Lambert Grand Prix. The bike has most of the original Lambert parts minus the rear derailleur and saddle. It does have the original fork of death still attached and functional. It's a great candidate for a restoration or make it rider. It will get you into the death rallys if anyone still does them. Needs tires, brake pads, etc. Check out the history on Google, it's pretty interesting. If the add is still up I still have the bike. Don't be afraid to make an offer."

In Arizona, there was some Viking labelled Viscount/Lambert. Viking had a right to use the name for a while; so there are a few of those around too.
