OK, thanks. As I look at it closer, it appears to be one of the Taiwanese Raleighs as well. Those have fooled me before. Still, if it's "Raleigh Tubing", isn't that usually something pretty decent that's just been re-branded?

Noteworthy lot of vintage parts, $130 buy it now. Cinelli, campy, etc. This won't last long.

bicycle type: road
condition: excellent
frame size: 62 cm
make / manufacturer: Nishki
model name / number: Semi-Pro
serial number: KS131862
wheel size: 27 in

Nishiki Semi Pro - 1973. Double butted Cro-Moly steel frame. Ready to ride. 62 cm frame. For a rider 6 ft or more. 35 inch standover height.
Rebuilt, all bearings serviced. New brake cables and housings. New bar tape. Beautiful Sugino Mighty Competition crankset. Suntour Barcon shifters. Suntour derailleurs. 27" alloy wheels. run true. Panaracer Pasela tires.
Lots of room for plump 27 x 1-1/4 tires and fenders.
Some scratches in the paint. Chainstay tubes deformed by kickstand clamp, see photo.
If you just want the frameset, $30. Then I can put the cool crankset on another bike.
Too many bikes, this one must go to make room for another ...
Thx for the heads up, Thumpy: I am now the new owner of this nice old bike.

Going to put some big fat tires and and a triple or compact double on it and go grind some gravel.

Glad to be a bad influence and always happy when one of these finds goes to a good home.

That ^^^^^ dude sells a LOT of '70s-'80s roadies. Seems to favor Cannondale, Trek, Centurion, the occasional Raleigh. Cleans them up very nicely, knows what he's selling, and lists them with lots of info. Even lists on Madison CL and says he'll travel here. I often check his ads just for the bike porn value.

There's the frameset for one of these at the local co-op for very cheap. Not in nice shape but very cheap.

HIGH END BIANCHI TROFEO ROAD BICYCLE W/CAMPAGNALO COMPS - $399 (Haverhill Mass)

That looks really nice, but is it a good deal? The hyperbolic ad copy leads me to believe it's overpriced, but I'm not familiar with Bianchis or Campy equipment.

Probably an ok deal if you really wanted it, I'm sure most of us here would want to pay less.

Advertising it as an "adult triathlon bike" without mention of Schwinn or Tempo probably turns away the target crowd. This is one occasion where removing an accessory might increase its value - take the tri bars off and now it's a normal road bike. Advertise it as such and it will probably sell quickly.
