Thanks. Yeah, I'm not going to mess with it. Have enough things to worry about without adding this flake to the list

Faggin's aren't usually this inexpensive. Pretty poor presentation though.

Yes, Raleigh Track Pro, worth a ton of money in that condition.

FWIW, they are typically called "track ends" with "drop outs" being reserved for horizontal or vertical notches that the wheel falls (drops) out of.

If you see a vintage bike with track ends, it's often worth more than its equivalent non-track counterpart. An example of this would be a Raleigh Pro vs. a Raleigh Track Pro. This is just an observation I've made. Naturally, condition and component group (or lack thereof) matter, too.

Man I love seeing this bike. My first '10 speed' was a used Flandria given to me by my parents, for Christmas, when I was ten-years-old. It was white with purple 'Celo' bar tape. I couldn't sleep..it was life-changing, rode it for years until I lent it to my cousin...never saw it again but great memories!

That's actually a real keeper. I'd offer $30, see if it's accepted. Pretty nice U0-8 or similar, should be a wonderful bike for tooling around, like a mustache bar set up...

I have one of those in red that is hanging on my 'back-burner' stand to be built up as an urban beater (drop bar, bar end shifters, crank converted to a square taper, probably the same fenders, 7 speed)...30 bucks seems about right. That's a bike I think you buy either because it has sentimental attachment (sometimes the case with me & French bikes), you just want a bike-any bike, or because you like it and you don't care that it's pretty value-less...or, I guess for some of the cool accessories, too. That said, I'm also building one up in pretty true period form for a friend & I think it will make an excellent market fetcher & stroller.

Very cool old Peugeot mixte. Some sort of PE euro-only variant, I think. Gotta wonder about the wheel size here, might be 650B:

https://richmond.craigslist.org/bik/3446884359.html

100$, been up a bit, could likely be had cheaper.

The white Pug in above posts dates to the sixties, and I would gladly drop 30 samolians on it.

[h=2]His and Her Road Bikes - $200 (Mebane)[/h]

Date: 2012-12-17, 3:31PM EST
Reply to this post 6gh67-3484943112@sale.craigslist.org[SUP][?][/SUP]

Two Peugeot road bikes, one black and one pink. Both are 10 speed bikes with lever shifters. Tires still hold air and both bikes have a luggage rack on the back. There are small generators on the rear wheels that are wired to a headlight and a taillight. The woman's bike is in great condition and fully functional. The male bike is in good condition but does have two small problems, the taillight does not work because it does not have a bulb, and the rear brake cable is missing, however the front brakes work really well. It also has a new seat on it. Asking $125 for the bikes individually or $200 for the pair. Prefer pick-up, but delivery might be arrangeable depending on your location and availability. For any other questions please email me or text me at 919-710-6650.
