Yes. 26 miles.
|
I got out early this morning and was looking for a 20 mile ride. I took a break at 8.4 miles after leaving the break about 4 miles down the road I realized I left my cell phone back where I have been sitting. I went back to get my phone riding on the wrong side of the road just in case I had dropped my phone while riding. I found my phone back on the seat I had been sitting. After finding my phone, I went directly home.

The regular loop on a hot day. Getting ready for next week when we get baked.

21+ miles yesterday, sunny, low 70s, wind mainly from N about 8-10 mph.
269 feet of climbing. It's pretty flat here. I often appreciate that.:) |
Today I rode 33 miles.
|
Rode to work, ten mile round trip.
Cheers, Scott |
Another 33 mile early morning ride into the country.

Always thankful to post this thread
Waited til mid afternoon for some warmer temps, about 60* and windy. Perfect for light long sleeve wool jersey.

I got out early this morning and got a 22 mile ride. I found some new roads to ride and one follows the river. I need to explore that one a little more. Hopefully tomorrow am I will do that.

Sixteen mile neighborhood ride. Tried to get out a bit earlier to beat the heat. Highs are expected to be in the mid 90s through Saturday. Not cool.:)
Cheers, Scott |
Got 16 miles in this morning on the local path. Used my Trek 700 that I have converted to drop bars. Great ride!

25+ miles, a big 404' climbing. I got out onto the road before 9 AM to beat the heat wave, but the thermometer got into the 90s before I got home.

:welcome Hope to see more of you around here. What Trek did you convert to drops?
I found a '93 Trek 700 Multitrack and throw on some Salsa Cowchipper drops on a quill stem adapter. Using a Shimano Exage rear derailleur and original 7 speed freewheel and triple cranks with friction bar end shifters. |
Sixteen sweaty, muggy miles in the neighborhood this morning.
Cheers, Scott |
Yes. I rode 26 miles in the heat of day.
|
I left the house this morning at 6:20 before the heat of the day began. I met two different people along my ride this morning. One of them wanted to explain how I could help make change and mentioned religion. I quickly made my departure as the conversation was never supposed to get that serious. Anyway, I rode for 21 miles today. The other person was a cyclist and she gave me a route to try so I may try that tomorrow.
|
Got out for 6 windy miles around the neighborhood right at sundown. First time I've been on the bike in several days.
|
There's a great pocket park on my local loop; a little playground, clean facilities, working drinking fountains and now the sprinkler is on. Oh yeah, I stood under there for a bit. 😮 😜

Got in 25mi today. No pics.
Good weather til Sunday has motivated me to ride 30 mi minimum for 4 days. Time will tell my commitment and endurance. |
20 early miles before they turned the heat dome on

Yes. I rode 24 miles.
|
I was out riding at 6:05 this morning on the new route the woman yesterday suggested. I got 17 miles but had to cut it short as my back brake handle lever came undone. I tried to reconnect the lever but on the side of the road but was unable. I came home and my son put it back together.
