Very pleasant ten mile ride this evening. Not as humid and cooler than earlier today.
|
Easy 14 mile ride on the single this am. One more ride tomorrow, then a rest day prior to Saturday's Tour de Fuzz (Santa Rosa, CA)
|
10 miles indoors today
|
Yesterday I did my usual 19 mile ride (I do this route about four times a week - weather permitting). It was a great ride, scenery was awesome!!! Weather was fairly nice too.
|
Did my daily 30 miler this morning. Good news is that the entire loop at the MUP is now dry. Only area still flooded is the service road at the footbridge. Hopefully, another week of no rain and sunshine will have that dried out as well.

But, of course! Got my confirmation in the mail last week. Riding Saturday with a high school buddy (old like me) and Sunday with my stoker on the tandem. Hope to run into you - not literally.

Got in 31 miles this morning but more importantly at least for me, it put me over 3000 miles for the year. Now on the way to 4.

The rain stopped but the sun never came out. Still a great day with 52 miles. Great job Ruby13. My annual mileage goal is 3k. It has been my best yr ever with almost 2800 miles in the last 4 months. I hope to hit 6k.

27 miles, mainly to go score some, "magic beans"! LOL, what I mean is pick up some "Sport Beans" with a side trip thru the Garden of the Gods and a bit of hill work on the Sinton Rail Trail! ;)

If you see a loner in a Team Nebo Ridge jersey, it'll be me. I'm too slow to ride with the rest of the gang. They like to do two laps each day, at a much brisker pace than I can keep for one lap.
I'll be on the lookout for them and for you. |
Rode to work and back today....................20 miles.
|
Did my regular 20 mile round trip commute today. I'm taking tomorrow off, and then it's the Civil War Century on Saturday. They're calling for some rain on Saturday, but I'm hoping it won't be too bad.

Yes I did Ride today. I took a vacation day and rode from my house to Artist Point on Mt Baker and back.. 113 miles and 6800' That was a lot of work for vacation. :)

Took the Masi out for about 30 miles today. 30 miles, 3 meals - not a bad ratio. But I'm always hungry anyway.
|
40 miles this morning starting at 04:45.
|
Another 31 mile MUP ride. Last seven miles was stop and go as I found a cell phone on the path and asked everyone I came upon if they had lost it. Ended up turning it over to the park rangers.

I am behind a few days. 62.5 last Saturday, 44.9 on Sunday, 54 on Monday, 49.2 on Tuesday, 45.2 yesterday. It was nice being on staycation and being able to ride!

Sorry, but you are not allowed to make entries here retroactively. If you don't enter your rides according to the thread title "did you ride today" they don't count.

My first ride to finish with heat index under 100. Heavy fog first two hours of 43 mile ride. @ 14.9 mph I am SO close to my next milestone.
|
I have to work tonight so I got out early and did 26km along the waterfront.....I tried my hill nemesis again and got up just a bit further than 2/3 of the way....It's a warm sunny September day so it was nice riding along the water....Karen

I also did a 31 mile route through The Villages, FL which is a combination of MUPs and golf cart/bike lanes. Started in the dark at 0630. Need to start at that time or earlier more often. Rode this on my Trek 8.4 DS.

Did 32 miles this morning under threatening skies and with high winds. Started out partly cloudy and windy but about half way round one of my rural loops the clouds started building. About 500 yards from the truck the skies started to open up and I just managed to get the bike in the back of the truck and get inside before the deluge began. Winds for the ride were 22mph from the north with 33mph gusts and the temperature hovered around 80F.

55 miles in less than 3:15. The roads were wet as rain departed. Rain is now looming again and the headwind home was substantial.
