149 for the month still, went to a family reunion yesterday had a great time
|
I rode yesterday morning and did 30 miles with the same weather conditions as Friday. Great day to ride. Then I came home and banged my knee up on the driveway tripping over one of the guides we have for our water hose. No ride today.

42 miles this AM.

FYI, FM has more dynamic range.
So, when I do a century, metric or other, does that mean I'm riding in the FM regardless of the time of day? :P |

Let's just say AM is more appropriate in C&V.

Annual JSTS Harvest ride (52miles). Had to cut it slightly short to make it in time for a family affair.
Temperature in the mid sixties, sunshine, slight wind, comfortable pace. Good to see lot's of riders on the road enjoying themselves here in western Monmouth. County NJ |

Rode 32 miles this morning-temps in the low 70's with A light breeze-perfect morning!!
|
19 miles, to get hardware for the utility trailer, up to an area LBS to get a supply of Sport Beans, then to our local drive in, which closes for the season tomorrow on Oct. 1. Jr. burger and jr. choc. milk shake, YUM. The weather was WINDY, Sunny but cool (70 degree F), it really felt like FALL! :)

A quick 8km ride doing errands. Another gorgeous fall day here. Perfect day for riding. A total of 348 for September.

Rode 24 rural miles this afternoon. 75 degrees and very little wind. Great ride.
September total miles 519 & YTD 2863. |
We're having our 'welcome to October' heat wave... Mid 90's today through Tuesday, so I got out early to get in a quick 20 miles... Was still in the 60's when I finished so that was nice.

I'm so ready for cold. |
The LBS ride was hotter and faster than last week's ride, and since I drilled the hills yesterday I was in no shape to keep up with the youngin's today. Still fun, and that's all that counts.

Still had enough energy - after removing/replacing an entry door to our garage - to ride 8.5 miles this evening. The three modest - very modest - hills on the route reminded that I was climbing hills in Kentucky yesterday. Virtually perfect weather today.
|
48 miles, including 28 in a club ride and the rest too and from the ride start. It was a gorgeous day with the fall colors about at their height, but I just didn't have it today. I was easily winded and my legs felt heavy. There's no particular reason - it's not like I rode hard yesterday or anything - it was just one of those off days. Too bad - it would have been a fun ride if I had had any steam.

13 miles, 162 for the month . only got to 72 degrees today .
|
5km on the trainer, yeah it's not far, but I ended up not riding at all between June and now, so I need to start back slowly....
|
Got up early, 02:45 and by 03:20 I was on the road. When I finished I had ridden 75 miles.
|
63 @ 18.0 on the club ride in Saturday, then 37 @ 17.8 on a Sunday solo ride. Felt good after almost 2 weeks off the bike.
|
26 miles last night, the normal Sunday Night Ride
