How are you liking the new steed? I passed up a closeout deal on a King Kikapu (2007) in october. Not as nice a ride as yours, of course, but it would also have been my first foray into full suspension. Your shots make me wish I had gone for it. |
It's actually supposed to be a sequence shot. But, I uploaded them in the wrong order.
I love it. It's really efficent and yet plush on rough downhills and roots with a flip of a lever. I like the geometry of it. You can really rail turns without having to do much. It turns quick. It's stable while in the air to, but I'm gone change out the Ignitors ASAP. Those things are super slow. Although I might leave it up front and see how it works like that. |
This really isn't a trail. Theres a little ****ty park next to my house, there are some woods in the distance. I rode over and found a few cool drop offs. Theres allot of trash out there, maybe I'll try and clean it up this weekend. Anyway here are some pics.

I dont have any area's around here, or anyone to help with that. I find myself going to the trails to make some friends in the riding world. None of my reg. friends like the trail riding aspect. Been trying to get in with the SORBA crowd, I would join, but I'm moving across the pond in less that a year. |

Very nice trails mr.smashy. I took a drive to a local state park this weekend and there is a trail out there..kinda crappy maintenance but it had a lot of bridges and beams to play on. Didn't get any pics but its in Deleon Springs State Park here in fl. I wish I lived somewhere with a lot of hills lol, kinda hard pedaling all that time without any downtime while riding.

Ugh, I will go crazy if I see any more leaves. Over the past couple months I've leafblown over 3 miles of new trail - 20 plus hrs worth. Still over 2 miles to go yet, but the payoff will be worth it.
We could definitely use some of that rock, though. edited: it's slow going, but not that slow... |

Had our 4x race on the snow at our local hill. Had more fun during practice...just wasn't overly motivated to race and got knocked out in the first round.
