Major Jake frame, 2001, previously assembled but never used, 58cm
Kona P2 Disc fork
Tange cartridge headset
Specialized stem, Truvativ XC Race flat bar, Specialized grips
Deore shifters and front derailleur
LX rear derailleur
Truvativ 5D crank and BB with 44/32/22 (going to get larger rings)
Shimano HG-53 chain
105 cassette (12-25)
Hayes brake levers
Hayes HMX-1 front brake with 8" rotor and Shimano Acera (I think) rear V-brake
Mavic A719 36H black rims
DT Swiss Competition silver spokes and brass nipples
Hayes Elite front hub w/XT skewer
Shimano Tiagra rear hub w/Specialized skewer
Hutchinson Gold Elite Pro CX tires 700x30
GT seatpost, Kalloy seat binder, Specialized BG saddle

Reassembled my HT this morning and took it for a spin at Hamilton Creek. Took a major step towards making it a softtail so I thought I'd repost it:

My digital camera sucks at closeups, but I think you get the idea....

No idea what happened to the bolts(for rear rack, I think) that were in there. I was too surprised to look for 'em. Never seen a cracked frame in person before. I was kind of expecting it, tho. The frame is 10 years old, after all. Thank goodness my FS is still operational....
OK, let the Crack'n'fail digs commence....
